We came across this after a hunt around the village it was late on and we was a bit weary that it was near end of food service. But they was so accommodating, the lady (manager we think) was a fantastic host and the staff couldn't do enough to help!! The food was superb and the warm chocolate cake is...

Arrived on a dark wet Friday October evening, parking was difficult, and I was tired after a long drive, so on entering this place to be met with a warm and helpful meeting was most welcome. Our bedroom was lovely with a huge bed and lovely bathroom along with mini bar and excellent toiletries it was everything you need for...

This is a small hotel (3 rooms), facing the river Dovey, on the southern boundary of north Wales. It's hard to review this place without getting into superlatives. The rooms are spacious and simply, but effectively, decorated. There are plenty of windows letting in that slightly mysterious Welsh light. Heating is more than adequate, and the shower is easy to...

Stayed for 2 nights our room had a great view and powerful shower. There was a good breakfast service and evening meals topped of with very helpful staff. The staff were very accomodating with our baby. All of our evening meals were great and the menu changed every night. Would definitely stay again.

We had to park in pay and display over night not really a problem around £6. Britannia inn is an old pub with two bars to choose from we sat in...

I had a few beers in a lively and friendly atmosphere on the Friday night. I dined there on Saturday night and enjoyed Chilli & Crab Salad. I was disappointed that there was no lobster available; pleasant views over the estuary from the restaurant.

We were sitting in the sun on the balcony when unbelievably we was asked to finish our drinks downstairs or across the road. They explained that it closes at 3 pm even though it was mid august. Several people walked out saying that they would never return. I asked the manager why we could not remain on the balcony. He...

Walked Into the pub and felt like being told off at school after being confronted with a rather rude lady saying can I help you (not politely) then the drinks order was wrong.....twice the food was not worth the money and the attitude of the staff all bar one is disgusting. The food was dumped on our table, no sauces...

Sat outside on the terrace with glorious views over the estury. Service was somewhat brusque. Ordered the crab salad - crab was excellent but the salad the most unappetising and boring pile of leaves I have encountered in a long time - with no dressing but a strip of cucmber peel added for good measure! The home made pie was...
