We have been visiting Aberdovey for many years but this is the first time we have stayed at the Cartref, which we found to be a beautiful Edwardian residence just a short walk from all village amenities. The house is immaculate, the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a joy to sit outside on the verandah or the lounge...

This is a lovely B&B and we would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting family in the area. We were met with a warm welcome from Mike who made us tea while we took up our cases. Having tea & Bara Brith on the verandah in the sun was a great way to start our mini break...

A fantastic guest house in the lovely village of Aberdovey. Linda and Mike have maintained the high standards set by the previous owners and added their own unique touches - a warm welcome with home made Bara Brith and a lovely residents lounge. Rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean and a delicious breakfast is freshly cooked to order. Highly...

Cartref is a short stroll to the village centre. We had off road parking, the wifi was good and the room had a seaview and comfortable chairs. Mike and Linda were very helpful with good dining out recommendations (such as the excellent Seabreeze restaurant). The whole place was very clean and the breakfasts delicious too.

This guesthouse is perfectly located for walking into Aberdovey. Rooms are a good size, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a comfortable quiet nights sleep. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We arrived on a motorbike and were really pleased that there was a great space to leave our bike securely during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious too.
