Called in here on Easter Monday. Have been to several Sambuca venues in the north east. Nice setting, big free car park, and similar menus to other venues. £4.95 for the 3 course lunch special is good value. Give it a try!

Bed was awful, really uncomfortable, not very strong wifi either Arranged late check out to be woken up to be asked if we were leaving. No one around to complain to when we dod check out, right along side the a19 so convenient for transport but awful road noise

At the price this hotel is pretty good value, but £8 for breakfast soon adds up. The bar/restaurant closes at 9pm and you're in the middle of nowhere so there's nothing else to do but watch some TV and get an early night. I was in room 7, it has the loudest creakiest bed I've ever come across, there was...

We have just returned from staying two nights........and what a really nice place this was. This Hotel was very very clean. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and obliging. We thoroughly enjoyed a few meals at the adjoining Sambuca restaurant.........where the food was delicious.......and very realistically priced. Once again the staff were very...

A one night stop over on a cycle ride from Newcastle to Hull. All the staff were very helpful, including somewhere to keep the bike over night and book discussions. The room was clean tidy with plenty of space, with usual tea, coffee tv etc - with bath (had a good soak). The location was good for me as quite...

This one is probably better than three blobs, but not quite four! I stayed here while travelling solo a few days ago. The room was large, and pretty clean, but seemed a little, well, sparse; like no controls on the radiators. It had all that I needed but just seemed a bit lacking in character, and there was a very...
