First visit to The Craigwell and Morecambe. On arrival greeted and booked in with no problems at all. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the hotel does not have a lift so if you struggle with stairs you will need a 1st floor room. The room was advertised as having a view of the mountains. The room had an...

This is a little gem of a place with lovely views of the bay, the owners will loan you their binoculars to see it better but I would advise taking a pair of your own!. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast cooked to perfection. The bathroom was a little on the small side and because the owners love...

The attention to detail is amazing. It is very obvious from the first day that this business couple love what they do and take pride in their gorgeous B&B. Breakfast is amazing, the rooms are warm, welcoming and comfortable. The entire place is so very clean and the location is beautiful! Full beach view. Close enough to the 'city' to...

Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place to stay! Jim and Gill were more than hospitable, always smiling and up for a chat. The breakfast was superb, the beds comfy and coming home to the sea views and the incredible light shows the sunsets provided each afternoon made the stay perfect. Absolutely gorgeous.

After one of the most stressful weeks of our lives, (we moved out of our house) It was with some relief to have somewhere out of the way to put our heads for a few nights. We chose the Criagwell purely because we'd stayed before and because the accept dogs. On arrival we were greeted like old friends and welcomed...

We received a warm welcome from the friendly hosts. The room was comfortable and well equipped and the breakfasts were good. The only thing that spoilt it for us the noise from the back of the hotel, especially their dog which started barking from about 7am. We like to have a bit of a lay in on holiday and it...

Thank you for your review. We are really sorry you were disturbed by the dog in the morning. It shouldn't have happened, hadn't happened before and we will make sure it doesn't happen again. Thank you for your lovely comments about your welcome, your room and the food, although we couldn't t quite understand your scoring after reading them.Once again...

We have just come home after a lovely five day stay at this friendly hotel. The breakfasts were great too! It was so clean and well looked after. The sea view from our room was incredible. The walk into Morcambe itself was only ten minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit.
