Stayed here 27/07/15 on a Shearings five day break, we upgraded to a sea view and wasn't disappointed. Our room was 109 on the 1st floor as it was above the reception desk we was able to access the free Wifi from our room normally only available in the public areas. The room was of a good standard with a...

My first impressions of this hotel were of a shabby, run down place. Peeling ceilings and wallpaper, rust around the fittings in the bathroom, hole smashed in the door... This is not the case in all the rooms - out friends had a room on the lower floor which was much better. The upper floor rooms seem to have been...

Dear reviewer I take this opportunity to apologise that the bedroom and bathroom did not match the other aspects of your stay. The hotel areas are continually being painted and rooms refurbished. I am so pleased to read that the service, food and entertainment were above expectations, and shall pass on your compliments to the staff. Joanna Wilkinson, Assistant Manager

Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Rooms well decorated and clean. Food was amazing and drinks were recommended and they complemented the food. I would recommend this hotel. We came with shearing holidays and the coach was comfortable and driver helpful and full of information.

Payed extra for upgrade and sea view. The room was very small with a tiny tv. You could hardly turn around in the bathroom and there was very little space to put toiletries. The sea view was from quite a high up window, you had to stand close up to see the sea. The food was really good and our...

Dear reviewer I am pleased to read of your satisfaction with service and food at the hotel, and saddened to read that the sea view and facilities in Morecambe were not to your satisfaction. My sister got married at this venue at the weekend and I have to say the service, the way the staff spoke to the guests and the professional e.g. Photographer was absolutely appalling. The day before the wedding there was errors made with the room bookings which the bride and groom had to try and resolve as this meant guests...

Spent 4 days here on a Shearings holiday. It was the quickest check-in I have ever experienced. The cases were out side our room in 5 minutes. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal were great and the dining room staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable, albeit a bit hot, due to...

This is a lovely little hotel. The check in was easy. The rooms were bright and airy. The food was wonderful - nothing was too much trouble.
