We chose to visit The Crown for steak and ribs night and we were not disappointed!! When we arrived at 7pm the dining area was quiet but the bar was busy. Friendly locals kindly moved so we could get a space at the bar to order our drinks.  We all chose the 8oz steak and half rack of ribs with...

The Crown has had a makeover and being local we tried it on a Monday evening. Two of us had a vwry enjoyable curry while 3 of us opted for Moules frites. Quite a lengthy wait for what should be a simple dish. Nicely presented but came with chunky chips not frites and the mussels had not been cleaned and...

We had a seafront suite (double bed plus adjoining twin room). Contemporary bar with sea front views, excellent value for money, great food (steak night Thursdays), excellent breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff. Secure storage for our bikes. Couldn't fault it!

Morecambe sadly seems to have quite a number of shabby looking places to dine. From the outside the Crown looked better than most and people were dining there so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. On enquiring about an evening meal we were advised that Monday night was curry night, which suited us very well. The food was...

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the end of April. Hotel situated on the promenade, centrally located. The bar/dining area had been superbly up-graded since our last visit. The staff were excellent. Friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

The bar & restaurant beautifully refurbished, bedrooms cleaned & fresh towels every day. Liam and his team were extremely accomodating & really went the extra mile to accommodate my restricted food requirements. Would definitely recommend.

Staying for a couple of days over the bank holiday, we liked the bar/restaurant but our room on the top floor was very shabby and not very clean. The sheet didn't quite fit the bed, the pillow had no pillow protector so hairs etc straight onto the pillow. The shower was dirty around the door and the seals were full...

My friend and I went to the curry night on Monday we didn't stay in the hotel. The bar restaurant area is nicely refurbished and fairly comfortable. The food was well presented and slightly mild. The lime pickle is excellent. The service was good, and we didn't have to wait long.

We stayed in room 9 for one night, the view from the windows in the bright sunny room was well worth the climb up 50+ steps! Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We paid extra for breakfast which was hot and fresh. The hotel is only let down by people leaving the pub nearby at 5am but I suppose...

Very pleasant stay. Stopped one night on our way up to the lakes. Hotel very clean and contemporary. Fixtures and fittings to a high standard. Staff friendly and the happy hour was a bonus. If we are up this way again we will be booking into the crown. Thanks.
