Went here for Sunday lunch with the family. Ate in the bar rather than restaurant but the decor was simple and clean. We all enjoyed our meal and the staff were really attentive. The food was good solid pub food but we were impressed and so often we are not and leave many places dissappointed; here we did not. Sticky...

Wanted to go for a meal as we usually do when on holiday up in Rosedale but pulled into the car park only to be told by another couple who had booked for the night that there was a notice on the door to say it was closed until nov 21st .There is probably a good reason for this but...

Lovely location to getaway from it all. Friendly and helpful staff eager to help. Reception on arrival could be improved rather than a note on the reception counter. Food and service in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was very good. Relaxed, not pushy. The bar became busy with a party of shooters who livened the place up. The...

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was a little tired and suffered from bad condensation on the window and door to the shared balcony. The bathroom, whilst clean was also a little dated and the shower ineffectual. Breakfast was very good. a good choice and well cooked and presented. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was...

Spent two nights here whilst exploring the moors and coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the bar and restaurant was very good. The room was clean the only problem we found was that the water pressure was very low and the room only had a handheld shower in the bath which was not much use.

My husband and I stayed there last week , and found the Inn to be everything we expected from reviews on Trip Advisor . John and Noleen are doing an excellent job upgrading the place and we loved the Dinner Menu. We had meals both evenings we were there and the food was first class. The gammon I had was...

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 25 years and the new owners provide a warm welcome. The food was excellent and the service first class. I particularly enjoyed the ham hock and black pudding terrine. The cosy bar serves a good range of beers and 43 different gins! Limited wine list but very good value....
