Stayed here recently as part of a couples get away. Cabins are well situated and the decking and hot tub area are private which is good. The hot tub was large an well maintained however the jets were not very powerful at all?? The cabin looked clean on the surface but could definitely do with a deep clean, the sinks,...

We stayed at Cropton as a family during the Easter holidays. Our cabin was in a clearing - at first I was a little disappointed as it did not feel like we were in the forest, but it ended up being a great location - from the cabin I could easily see where my son was playing in the forest...

We have stayed at forest holidays ardgarten before and loved it. We were looking for somewhere to stay on a return journey. We booked this last minute and they only had golden oak available last time we stayed in silver birch. I have to say i saw no difference between the two apart from a log burner which we did...

We have just returned from a midweek break at Forest Holidays Cropton. The cabin was top notch & by far the most comfortable we have stayed in anywhere so far. We booked a one bedroom Golden Oak that allowed pets - our two little dogs lived it too. It was really modern inside with everything you could need & the...

We have just returned from a weeks break at Cropton Cabins. We stayed in the Golden Oak cabin so we knew what we were getting - as such. But Keldy cabins are better, their cabins are actually set more amongst the trees. Their cabins are the older style but being set more amongst the tress sells it for us. The...

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your holiday on the whole but please accept our apologies for the cleanliness of your cabin. We are grateful for your feedback and we hope you will stay with us again – it sounds as if you will be likely to stay at Keldy rather than Cropton though! Kerry

My partner and I were here for 4 nights this week and it was an idyllic break!!! The cabins are wonderful, there is nothing I would suggest to make this place better!!! Well and truly worthy of 5 stars! Clean, welcoming and well maintained! Hot tub cleaned daily, we took part in the quiz which was fun and the staff...

Accommodation was fantastic very comfortable , beds excellent slept like a log maybe to do with the long walks . Fantastic kitchen home from home. Our first visit to a cabin in the forest and we were impressed. Very spacious interior and decking area although our dog did use it to bark at other dogs from his vantage point (apologies). Did the ranger tour and thoroughly enjoyed Robin sharing his knowledge of the forest. Just a point- the marketing blurb did say that the ranger...

Quite a disappointment as so average in every way unfortunately. nothing flash but functional accommodation. Very muddy, too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, too expensive shop and internet or 'entertainment package'.
