We stayed in a Silver Birch cabin; it was well equipped with all you need for a forest retreat holiday. The Forest Holidays team were very friendly and helpful at check in and throughout our stay; nothing was too much trouble for them. The walks surrounding the site are graded for differing abilities and needs, plus the hot tub was...

The positives are that it is a very peaceful location and we saw deer from our window the first morning. The beds and hot tub were good. We slept well and relaxed each day in the hot tub. We enjoyed a walk around the woods and my grandson enjoyed the play park and doing the Shaun the Sheep Challenge. We...

This is our 3rd stay at a Forest Holidays and 1st at Keldy. The site was peaceful and quiet and really pitch black of a night time so pack that torch if you venture out after dark due the limited external lighting. Even the deck didn't have lighting (other 2 sites did) Keldy was also the most isolating been a...

My boyfriend surprised me to a lovely break away at these log cabins and I have to say they're absolutely amazing, perfect get away! So clean, tidy even though they're in the forest in the middle of no where. I loved every minute of it and didn't want to come home! We even got in the hot tub in the...

Just got back from a long weekend stay at the lodges. The lodges themselves were beautiful very clean and modern which is what I would expect for the price we paid. We went with our friends as a last minute trip out for the weekend. Enjoyed our nights in the hot tub and Used the log fire ONCE as you...

Short stay in the cabins with my dad, his partner and their two large dogs. Very nice cabins which are more like houses. Choose to get a hot tub it's fantastic. Nice couple of walks around the area but a couple more would be nice. Bar/restaurant/cafe onsite was nice with fair food and local beers

Visited Keldy after staying at the Crompton site the previous week. The cabins at Keldy seem to be older and yes there was dust/cobwebs on the beams (but this is a cabin in the forest after all!) but the setting is lovely. Had a really relaxing time, loved the walks. Didn't hear any noise other than birdsong. Will certainly return.

This was our second visit to Keldy and it did not disappoint. Absolutely love forest holidays. Ok, so they are certainly not the cheapest and some attention to detail could be better in the cleanliness departement, but overall, the staff are amazing, the surroundings idyllic and the hot tub a blessing. Perfect getaway for you and your four legged friends...
