Fantastic stay at St Brides. Well worth booking a room with a sea view. Evening food at the hotel is highly recommended as is the breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Spa pool was fantastic Really looking forward to visiting again soon.
Had a great vegan afternoon tea. Views were amazing and the service was excellent. The booking process was really smooth and there were no hitches with dietary requirements, everything was as ordered which is remarkable. Only improvement would be for more interesting sandwich fillings e.g instead of just cucumber adding some ‘cheese’, instead of just ‘cheese’ adding some chutney and perhaps adding some hummus in with the beetroot. Overall a great experience!
We've just returned from a 3 night stay here. It is by far the most relaxing and welcoming hotel we've ever stayed at here in the UK. All the staff in every area are highly trained welcoming and utterly professional. Our room was 201 and comprised of a lovely sized double bedroom and bath room plus a seating area with a balcony and far reaching sea views. Finding fresh milk for the tea and coffee was a real bonus. All areas of the hotel are spacious light comfortable and scrupulously clean. There are many seating areas both inside and out making the most of the elevated position the hotel enjoys. The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the spa area with the heated infinity pool overlooking the town and bay. It is simply wonderful. One aspect I really appreciated was the accessibility of all areas. Clearly a great deal of thought has gone into this aspect with slopes and stairlifts if they are required. Disabled parking spaces are available in the car park which is spacious but can get full at times. All the meals we had were top quality with a good choice. The dining room has the most superb views in many directions which can be enjoyed even at night with the lights of the town twinkling. If you're in the need of some indulgence and relaxation this is the hotel to head towards. We cannot recommend it highly enough. …
We stayed for one night in our favourite hotel. After a taxing journey due to the awful weather we received a very warm welcome and went to our room which was delightful. As always there was fresh milk and water in the fridge and a variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. I would like to thank the night porter for his help in resolving an issue as he was excellent. The breakfast was superb and you won’t find a better view anywhere to enjoy it. We then enjoyed our time in the infinity pool and again the staff here were amazingly helpful. We enjoyed coffee in the lounge with the Sunday papers before regrettably tearing ourselves away. You won’t find a more relaxing hotel anywhere in Britain. Thoroughly recommended.
We cannot rate our stay over the Christmas period highly enough. Everything about our visit was spot on; the staff were all excellent, the breakfast and dinner a delight and the thermal spa pool was fantastic, especially at night with the views over the lit up harbour. All in all the hotel is a delightful experience
This is our 5th visit to St Brides. On arrival we were greeted by a very helpful and polite receptionist. There was an issue with future bookings for the coming months, however on our departure the Manager Alina (hope I spelt her name right) overheard the conversation. She immediately spoke to me and sorted out the issue within minutes. We visit lots of hotels around the country and I must say Alina is the best Manager I have ever had contact with. She is professional, kind, supportive and super helpful, she clearly has high standards. The overall stay once again was excellent. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional they clearly are well trained and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was Lovely, the steak was a little tough but I passed this onto the manager who was grateful for the constructive feedback. St Brides is without a doubt the best spa hotel within South Wales. The staff are attentive, kind and considerate. The spa facilities are outstanding and the food especially the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. We will be returning several times in 2023. Thank you St Brides for another wonderful stay. See you again in a couple of weeks.…
Just returned after 2nd visit to this amazing hotel, and we cannot wait until we go back again. The hotel rooms, food and facilities are second to none but the staff really make the difference, they are the best and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you everyone for a fabulous break, we hope to see you soon.
My wife and I have been visiting St Brides for some years, when I was thinking why is it we keep returning and it’s simple, quality of service. While staying here we get a feeling of relaxation, knowing everything is going to be spot on. From the smile at reception, the tranquil time in the spa, to the relaxed atmosphere in the restraint or bar to the smart deco in the rooms, there is something about this place that make you feel amazing. Attention to detail stands St brides above the rest, the small things we notice makes all the difference and the customer service which is first class. If you have looked at the hotel online you will have seen the views and all the facilities the hotel has to offer, however what you may not have seen is how the staff go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be, the team work so hard to achieve this all the time. It means so much to be able to get away for a night or two and come home feeling recharged with that buzz you have had a lush time away. Thank you St Brides keep doing what you do best.…
We went to St. Bride's Hotel in April for a spa day which was originally booked for 2020. It was the best spa day we've ever had! The staff was so friendly and professional, we did the Calm Seas package and the Tangled Up Wrap and neck and shoulder massage was out of this world. We had this in the treatment room overlooking the beach. The 2 course lunch was lovely...definitely recommend the Chocolate Torte. All the areas was kept clean and tidy and it was very well organised. Can't wait to go back again.
We just came back from a 2 night stay at st Brides Spa. We went to celebrate our golden wedding and my 70th birthday. It was wonderful to be somewhere so beautiful. They did a lovely surprise for us. We were upgraded to a beautiful room which made our special time even more special. Thank you all so very much from both of us. 🙂
