We got married at Llechwen Hall in 2006 and decided to stay there for our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. Was a lovely stay, and the room was lovely. The food at the restaurant was very nice, the starter and main course were very filling but the dessert was a bit on the stingy side but delicious. The staff couldn't do... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, when we attended a family wedding. Our room was in the coach house. It had a massive 4 poster bed. Was very clean and well presented. Breakfast was served fresh in the morning and the evening menu is to die for. This hotel is situated on top of a hill with stunning views of the... More

The 'tired decor' remark relates only to my rooms, which were in the annex building, The Coach House, and not up to the standard one would expect in an 'executive suite'. The bedroom was large, containing a double bed and bunk beds (I'd only booked a double). But the decor was not welcoming - it certainly looked nothing like the... More

I was travelling alone with my work and I would stay here again as the staff, room and food was good. I would possibly think twice about staying here in the winter months as the hotel is on top of the mountain with a cery narrow and steep road to it!

My husband and I went here for our anniversary meal, and it certainly didn't disappoint, were made to feel really special.welcoming staff and relaxing dinning area.with a beautiful view. We opted for the à la carte menu a superb selection to choose from, my husband would recommend the ham hock hash for starter . Both our mains were delicious ,and presented beautifully,great... More

We arrived at Llechwen Hall for a overnight stay, On arrival the building from the outside was very pleasant. The access to the Hotel was via a very windy single track road, ok during the day, but did not like it at night very narrow with deep drops to the side. Our room was very tired and some parts of... I was invited to Llechwen Hall for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is a little off the beaten track but it was worth the drive through the pot holes in the road! We were shown through to the restaurant and our orders were taken. Despite it being a Saturday afternoon with a wedding taking place the staff... More

Nice, peaceful setting . Combination of traditional rooms in main building or something more recent in the annex across the court yard. Good sized rooms, some with 4 posters and corner baths. Restaurant food is good as is breakfast. As a business traveller it ticks the boxes for me.

Stayed here for 1 night and wish we could have stayed longer. It exceeded my expectations completely. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was delicious at dinner and breakfast, the room was very large with the most comfy bed and all amenities you could want and the location is stunning. It was only 20 minutes from Cardiff and 30... More
