Forth Guest House is a lovely place to stay in Stirling. The owner and the staff are very kind. We had a goog night sleep and a generous breakfast. The rooms are clean and were nicely done up. Unfortunately I broke the shower head (typical me), but thankfully the owner had another one in reserve, so I didn't have to...

What a find! Always stopped in Bannockburn, chose here for a change. We arrived quite late due to the poor traffic on M6. But Jim was very welcoming. Showed us to our room where a plate of sandwiches was waiting for us. Lovely gesture. The beds are comfortable. The room tastefully decorated and very clean. Central location, but extremely quiet....

We can't say enough about our stay here. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was the best of our entire trip, and it was close to the train station. Our host, Jim, was personable and efficient. He also went out of his way to give us suggestions for exploring Stirling, including the walk to the Wallace Monument.

5 minutes walk or less to the train station and bus station. Centrally to the city center. Charming old house. Lovely english breakfast. Feels like you are guest in a family house. Strongly recommended!

A very nice place to discover Striling. The owner is very kind, it is easy to park and you are close to Stirling restaurants and places to see. The breakfeast is also very good Don't hesitate to stay here.

Stayed one night in a twin en suite. Clean room. Forth is perfect for an overnight in Stirling especially if traveling by train as it is a 5 minute walk from the rail station and a short cab ride to the rental car companies. Our host, Jim, was accomodating and the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

The room we stayed in for 1 night was very nice and clean. The guest house is nicely decorated in a Scottish style and the hosts are nice people. Breakfast is good as well, proper food and decent quantity!

Forth Guest House is a charming place with great landlord and lady. They serve a very good breakfast and the room we had was a speciaous en-suite with a very good bed. Short walking distance to the old city and parking outside the guest house is good.

My wife and I have stayed in Edinburgh before and found the hotels vastly over-priced and generally of inferior quality. On this trip to Scotland we decided to stay somewhere within easy reach of Edinburgh but with attractions of its own. We settled on Stirling which is 55 minutes by train from Edinburgh (on the Dunblane - Edinburgh line). The...
