In July we stayed at the Lawn for a second time, staying overnight and using the parking before our trip to Orlando. We stayed in the same room as before, and it was as comfortable as before, with some improvements e.g. a new TV. Service was as friendly as previously, and the taxi service to and from Gatwick worked excellently....

The Lawn Guest House was just what we needed! I had an interview at Gatwick Airport and my Mum and I were looking for somewhere to stay for one night. We arrived quite late in the evening and were greeted straight away by lovely gentleman, who helped carry our luggage to the room. We stayed in a twin room and...

Good location. Clean rooms didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. All round good, inexpensive solution for early flights. Quick and free day time collection from gatwick. Try the la gourmet restaurant just up the road for a tasty holiday start.

We booked 2 rooms for 1 night as a stop over before flying out from Gatwick for a family holiday. This little Guest House was ideal and a great choice as we usually stayed at the bigger chains which are really impersonal and wack on charges for food and transfers. Even though we arrived late and the transfer service had...

I travel on a regular basis for business and have stayed in many hotels and guest houses across the county and especially around the Gatwick area. I have stayed at the lawn guest house a number of times now and thought i would take the time to review this excellent place. The service is just ace with a warming welcome...

I do not know what the last 2/3 people are on about. I have stayed at this guest house quite a few times and it has NEVER smelled of curry, if it did smell then it could well have been a visitor eating a takeaway in their room which you are asked not to do. I tell them when I...

Got lost and tried to call, owner must of not heard phone with hesge trimmer, very unproffesional. Finally went into a dirty office to pay! Owner was trying his luck trying to say breakfast didnt start till 7.30am despite all menus saying it was...

Stayed here night before our holiday. Got lost on way so tried to call 5 times and no one picked up the phone! eventually found it. Was not welcomed very well at all especially as owner was at front. Got lead into a hectic office. Bags not carried to room! Not even showed to room. At 11pm heard children upstairs...

Thank you for your review, but your issue has no substance, no base. So you called 5 times, could we have been in the middle of checking someone in? Would you like me to walk away from checking you in if the phone rings? You arrived after 10pm on the day of your stay, I normally close at 10 but...

Regretably the friendly welcome doesn't make up for a very downbeat experience. The whole place smelt of curry (which we could still smell on our clothes the following day)...very little sound insulation between rooms, so don't expect much sleep!! We were sandwiched between creaking floorboards above accompanied by the noise of the water cistern re-filling each time the toilet was...

We arrived late at Gatwick without a hotel booking and found this B&B on line. We called and were told that someone could pick us up in about 15 mins. We unfortunately got lost in the airport and couldn't find the meeting point in time. When we finally did get there we called again and were told that the car...
