One of the friendliest hotels we've ever stayed at. We came down here to escape the Notting Hill Carnival where my partner lives but didn't want to leave. The Angel is a characterful hotel with wonky walls and sloping floors but the rooms are sympathetically modernised given the circumstances. The staff make the hotel for what it is, they are...

Stayed here with my partner for 1 night, lovely clean room. My only disappointment is with lack of air con, I understand that due to the age of the building it might not be possible, however, something has to be done as its not nice trying to sleep with the noisy fans on in the background. Staff were friendly and...

We stayed at the Angel Inn when we went to Glorious Goodwood for the racing. The hotel is only 6 miles away so it's a good location. Midhurst at is a cute town and the hotel is easy to find. The rooms and clean and to a good standard. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast...

What a lovely evening! The restaurant has recently changed management & chef apparently, hence back on the map. The food was wonderful. We could have been in France. The recommended wine was perfect. The staff were very helpful & attentive. We will be going back!!

The room that I had wasn't huge but very comfortable and all amenities, an excellent bed and I managed to sleep well, even on a humid evening. The Bathroom was a good size and well appointed along with good quality shampoos etc. Hairdryer in the bedroom as well. What really counted was the staff, all friendly and helpful. I had...

We had a really nice stay here - the staff were friendly and the hotel really nicely decorated (we particularly liked the plants in the bar). The hotel itself is very old and a pleasantly rambling building. Our room was pleasant but just a little more attention was needed in terms of cleaning (maybe splitting hairs but I had to...

We just stayed for one night whilst attending a nearby wedding. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to check in a bit earlier in the day for the wedding. Breakfast was very nice too. Very handy for walking to Cowdray for the wedding and there's a small car park at the side of the hotel if you come...

Was surprised with the standard of this hotel. It's a 17th Century coaching Inn and has retained much character- so yes this means the walls slope and things sit wonky but it's part of the charm! The rooms are well decorated with all you could need included robes and slippers and toiletries. Room has tea/coffee and bottled water was a...

Our family group of 4 adults and two children of 5 & 6years went for Sunday lunch on 19th June. We were seated in a lovely private dining room away from other guests thus allowing us to totally relax and enjoy each others company without a "smart phone or tablet" destroying the art of conversation! Although there is no separate...

This hotel is well located centrally in mid hurst and perfect with a short walkway to Cowdray for a wedding which we were doing. Our room was huge and nicely decorated. Little bit of outside noise so earplugs helped but not too bad. The breakfast was delicious and staff everywhere couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, I'd recommend.
