I love coming to this Premier Inn...which I do, on a regular basis as I have friends around here. I'm always assured of a friendly welcome. The rooms are always immaculate and yes, the beds are wonderful. There's plenty of choices nearby for meals...from the Brewers Fayre next door to supermarkets across the road. There's easy parking and access to...

Stayed here with my husband and two friends while we went to Kynren. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and comfortable. The Brewer's Fayre restaurant is fine too; great breakfasts and well cooked dinners. Perfect for two night's stay.

Just as you expect from a premier inn. Very warm welcome from reception guy. Can't remember his name but very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotlessly clean . Air con works well or you can open a window if wanted too . Pub next door is spot on

Always a hearty welcome at Bishop Auckland.Food is lovely and the Tindale Crossig pub is always a joy to sit in. The staff are always a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait for our next visit.

Stayed here with my daughter for three nights, mainly to see fantastic Kynren, but also to explore the area. The first room we were given had a (locked) adjoining door, and at about 9.30 it sounded as though a children's party was going on next door. On looking into the corridor a group of children were assembling. This could be...

It's a Premier Inn. So you get the usual thing: efficient check-in, clean, basic recently-decorated rooms. No problems there. But the location of this one is in a charmless industrial area, next to a rubbish dump. In our quest for reasonably-priced accommodation in the Durham area, we won't be going to this one again.

We stayed here to have a look around Bishop Auckland and see the Palace and regeneration. And Kynren! Excellent friendly efficient welcome- typical of the North East.It was easy to reach from the A1(M). But the town centre of Bishop Auckland is not really walking distance. It is next to a Brewers Fayre and as a consequence parkingh can get...

An excellent Premier Inn, the best we have stayed in. Room was spacious with everything required for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was immaculate with a very good shower. All the staff were friendly and cheerful.

I stayed with my sister here on the way up to Scotland via Durham. We arrived late and there was no problem checking in. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, which lead to us both sleeping well. Free wifi was accessible in our room. The bathroom was great with a lovely shower that stayed hot. For the money paid,...
