We stayed here for two nights and wish it was longer. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was to die for. It is in the remote part of the north pennines, with fantastic views. This place is one to remember and visit again.

This is a working farm situated high up in Weardale, Co. Durham up a steep little track road leading to the main house for B&B and there are two rental cottages. Our room was at the rear upstairs and was of decent size with a large store cupboard, double bed and dressing table. There was a small tv in the...

Very comfortable room, breakfast superb. Rang Jan a couple of days before we landed and she put on a lovely dinner for us. Nearest place of note is Alston which has a CoOp and cash tills. Penrith, Carlise and Hexham a good hours drive away. Stunning scenery everywhere you drive. Plenty of relatively local eateries for an evening meal.

My wife and I stayed here whilst up from Ipswich for Appleby Horse Fair. Perfect, very welcoming (like staying with family), lovely rooms with great views. Along with a quality breakfast cooked for you in the morning. Simply perfect, will be returning and recommending too!

We booked the bed and breakfast for our family of 5 and, as one of the cottages was free, we were upgraded to a lovely cottage with lots of room for us all. The owners are really welcoming. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and warm, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast before we left. A great place to stay...

Jan and Harry made us feel at home in their home, and we were all delighted to have chosen to stay here. We arrived for a three...

We had week long stay in this cottage in May. The cottage is extremely spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. The owners Jan and Harry have adapted it to make it easily accessible for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility, there is a roll in shower in one of...
