Ok I have read the previous reviews and some are unfair. This hotel is what it is old, just like Tenby. Very hard to maintain such an old building, but our stay was fab. Yes bedrooms could do with being updated, but hey they are warm and spotlessly clean, bathrooms basic but adequate. For the price excellent value. Hosts were...

Stayed at the Albany for 4 nights on a trip with National Holidays. On arrival we were given room number 1 which was really cold even with the back up heater turned on the room took two days to get reasonably warm. The hot water was on a separate boiler from the heating and was next to impossible to manage....

We stayed here on a 5 day national holidays break from 9th Jan. It is an old hotel that was formerly a pub and has 3 floors. It is a rabbit warren of little passages and flights of stairs with no rooms on the ground floor. There are no lifts so everyone has at least one flight of stairs to...

As Richard, the owner, has said, more than once, this is a 2 star hotel in a very old building, it is not the Ritz. So yes it has its quota of uneven floors and occasionally noisy plumbing but it is warm and comfortable, with decent food. Others have remarked on the decor, and I have to agree that it...

Hi, Thank you for taking the time in writing this review following your recent stay. As you acknowledge it is an old building and if any human could reach the same age as the building I am sure that they too would have problems with standing up evenly and have a few plumbing problems (but it wouldn't stop you loving...

Hi, Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay. I am pleased that you found myself friendly and the rooms lovely and warm and clean. The saniflows are not missing any lids (as they would not be able to operate?) The rooms are in keeping with our 2 star status, however I agree that the silicone in some of...
