Trip Advisor views that are more than a year old can be very misleading as things do change. Start to finish this hotel was much better than I'd expected. The food was well cooked and enjoyable and the portions were more than I could eat at times. All the staff were local and very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Our...

Husband and I have just returned from Tenby where we enjoyed a great holiday in the Clarence House Hotel. This is one of the best hotels we have been in with Urquart. We found the coach trip tiring but that was our fault for not doing our homework. We were 13 hours travelling! We got on at Paisley,7a.m. and arrived...

Perfect apartment for a small family. Not ultra modern but a homely, cosy feel with lovely see view. We stayed in the separate building from the actual hotel but was nice and peaceful as we were not near any entertainment area. Exactly what we wanted! Extremely close to town and the beach is just across the road! The only negative...

Just back from a coach trip. Although we arrived late we had a warm welcome with staff taking our coats and carry on bags before ushering us into the dining room. As with all meals there was a good choice of high quality food-portions were generous. Staff were efficient and friendly and our bed room was clean and comfortable. Thank...

Stayed hete easter weekend . . Bedroom could have done with a bit of paint as a little outdated . Cracks down the corners of the walls . Supposed to be happy hour after 7.30 for residents but still got charged full for our drinks . Dee the receptionists struggled to put a smile on her face ( grumpy )....

Visiting this hotel is like stepping back in time. That's not a negative comment but a interesting one. It's very different. Firstly it's a very clean hotel. Our room was front facing with a huge comfortable bed. They also welcome dogs and this made the feel of the place homely even though they are not allowed in the dining room....

Family run hotel in perfect location. Tenby is a beautiful pre-medieval town with massive city walls. You can go to visit the castle though 8 meters tide up and down twice a day can be a bit intimidation. Trip to Cistercian owned Abbey at nearby Caldey Island is strongly recommended. Seal and puffin boat trips.

This hotel is basic and if your a dog lover this is the place for you. I was having my sausage one morning for breakfast and a dog was watching me eat it. The hotel has daily happy hours where everyone is welcome in the function room and the hotel gardens opposite which can get rowdy. In the evening if...

I am very sorry that you did not like the Clarence House Hotel. What does surprise me is that you mentioned a dog watching you eat a sausage? However, we do not allow dogs into the Dining Room, unless they are guide dogs so I am not sure how you ended up being watched eating by a dog... You again...

We had to park in the road but found a spot round the corner so wasn't too bad. I imagine it might be tricky to find parking in high season though.

I never saw one or any signs that they had one, yet I didn't ask either if they had one if that makes sense.

I'm not sure as we only stayed one night as a last minute stop off so we decided to have a walk round the pretty town and ate out. There are plenty of eateries to choose from in the town
