Very polite and pleasant staff, especially from woman in the brassiere (sorry can't remember her name). We had a 2night break in an executive room, very large room,. bed could have been a little better. Good area away from the bustle of town, but a short taxi/drive.

My partner and I stayed at heywood from Dec 30th to Jan 2nd for a short break. Staff were very polite and helpful throughout the stay. Overall the hotel was clean and well situated with ample parking and good facilities. The room was spacious and clean. The only issue we had was that our double bed was in fact two...

Quiet for this time of year. But just what we wanted. The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Hotel has a pool, spa, gym and hair dressers but make sure you book treatments in advance. Food was very nice and well presented. Overal a pleasant experience.

The welcome was wonderful and our room was stunning with a fantastic display on the bed of 2 beautiful swans with scattered rose petals and a lovely chilled bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. We had...

There is nothing to dislike here. Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable and decent sized room(executive). No extra flaunce and clutter which I dislike in hotel rooms.Water in shower was hot and good pressure.Room clean and tidy.Coffee, tea etc replenished regularly. A few small things needed attention(crack in bathroom panel, balcony needed repaint) but nothing that would effect our stay.Public rooms nicely decorated and presented....

We have just held our club's Christmas party at Heywood Spa. For many, it was their first visit to the hotel so the splendour of the rooms was an immediate hit, however, the show did not end there. The party room had been decorated beautifully and when the food arrived not only was it fabulous to look at but it...

Nothing was too much trouble from the staff, even suppling a bath aid for my elderly mother. Room was stunning with efficient and effective air conditioning. Sitting room elegant and peaceful. Food excelent, locally sourced and obvious from the high quality and flavours and chef suprisingly flexible with requests. Pool and Jacuzzi wonderful, mum decided not to use gym.

Peter, After reading your response to my review of your hotel the last thing I'll be doing is removing it as when I left the review trip advisor asks to confirm that my review was a true & honest reflection of my experience. I would like to point out that as for you calling me bitter & twisted I think you'll find it's more likely the other way around & its you who is bitter & twisted, almost every negative feedback I've read of your hotel is met with threats of you wanting to take people to court for slander ect. Maybe you should look at it more as constructive criticism & do something about making the hotel better rather than just trying to belittle the customers that have had an unpleasant stay at this hotel. Id also like to add that out of everything I wrote on my review the only thing you could bite back at (which you do on every negative review of this hotel from what I've seen) was the part where I wrote "somethings the Hotel should take note on & could have done to improve the place BESIDES putting a match to it" By all means take me to court if you feel the need but my comment was NOT written to entice anybody to do so. As for the hotel being sympathetic towards is if by that you mean turning the music back up 30 minutes after complaining then yes you were very sympathetic (that's sarcasm by the way incase your narrow mind can't get to grasps with it) I'll look forward to reading whatever negative response you post in regards to this. On a lighter note if you do decide to invest some money into replacing & solving the rotten/damp issues within your hotel give me a call I'll do you a good deal on building materials. Much love Gary. PS Merry Christmas xx
