We paid £270 for 4 nights (not including breakfast) which is a good price, the room was classed as a budget room. Breakfast was an extra £15 between us so we had that one morning and it was good.

The room was ok- I wasn’t expecting luxury but the walls seemed paper thin. We were woken at 6am one morning by the person next door having a coughing fit in their bathroom! Also very flat pillows!

The hotel is literally a 10 min walk into the centre and you get parking which is a huge bonus in Tenby.

Room was spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast was hearty and well presented. The hotel is managed by a delightful couple who are excellent hosts. Car parking is free on site and the hotel is situated a short but hilly walk from the beach and shopping area.

We visited Tenby for a couple of days and booked this hotel as it had reasonable reviews and was easy walking distance from the town centre. It was a good decision. Firstly, plenty of free parking. Secondly, Joe in reception was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast choice was good. I had a bacon sandwich each morning, 5 out of 5. Again, staff efficient and friendly. Whilst it is a basic hotel, for a short visit it was perfect and we would have no problems with staying here again.

After leaving a very honest review with booking.com the owner telephoned us to take us to task over every poor point we had raised about the hotel and I was called a liar because I honestly gave my opinion. My mother in law made booking and they have phoned her twice harassing her for our telephone number to basically call us a liar for leaving an honest review. Some very valid complaints as poor cleanliness. Ground floor and going in to room to open windows wide when we had valuables in room but not leaving clean towels. No privacy blind in bathroom so sat on toilet and cars parking directly outside. Shaver light not working. Shower cold. No sleep as can hear every noise from other guests. Constant doors slamming. No parking space on arrival. Coffee making facilities on dressing table where you get ready so unhygienic. No visible presence from management on site and when husband tried to contact using the 2 bells on reception desk and telephone number provided for clean towels and to look at cold shower, no one answered. This is at best a basic, tired B&B not a hotel and they are clearly not interested in Customer Service and we have been harassed this morning. When they should have been apologising instead they rang us up to have a go and argue about every single point raised but as I pointed out, the negative reviews (having read them this morning) all say the same thing as us so how are we liars. The owners words which are recorded ‘I have rung to discuss your review as you have told a few lies’ was the opening line! And the best one was ‘windows were opened as we have been in a pandemic and I have told staff when they go into a room to open the windows - even on ground floor’! So your staff go into a room, don’t leave clean towels, don’t make the bed, don’t re- stock the tea / coffee, but open the windows because they have been in the room! I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life! Doesn’t matter we had valuables in there then??

Hotel is on the approach to the North beach area of Tenby and is less than 15 mins walk. Parking is available with about a dozen spaces at the front and rear of the hotel.
Rooms are a decent size with bath/shower, tea/coffee, TV and large bed. The decor is very white, clean looking but a bit bare in my opinion. The reception is unmanned but ring the bell and someone friendly appears to assist. Breakfast is any perm of the usual English/Welsh variety and cereal/yoghurts are on hand. There was no noise at night, although seagulls could be heard at times, especially with windows open.

The location is fairly close to town albeit an uphill walk coming back - we used taxis as the taxis prices are very fair.
This hotel is fabulous value for money.

Very friendly hosts Joe and Jade, who made our stay very welcoming.

The breakfast was awesome, cooked by Joe, there is also a choice of cereals.
Toast and tea and coffee

The room we had was very clean and faultless, we even had a bit of a sea view.
The large bed was very comfortable.

Plenty of car parking spaces

We wouldn't hesitate to rebook and stay at this fabulous hotel should we visit Tenby again.

Just arriving home after a 3 night stay at the Cottage Court Hotel, had a lovely stay here.

We booked a king size double (Rm 9) and it was a lovely spacious room, good size bathroom and plenty storage space.

Room was lovely and clean and nice comfy bed, even a sea view in the distance.

The hotel is perfect situation for walking into Tenby and back, bit of a hill but only 10 min walk.

Breakfast was good, choice of cereals n juices and then full English options, the staff at breakfast where very friendly and so was the owner who showed us to our room on arrival and accommodated us checking in early as our room was ready, would recommend to anyone who wants a budget friendly stay in Tenby.

The bed & breakfast is in a good location about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the North beach. There is parking facilities for residents which was a bonus as parking can be a problem in Tenby.
We stayed in a double room with en-suite. The room was small but for a 2 day stay it was fine. There were fresh fluffy towels & facilities to make a hot drink.
Breakfast was a good standard and there was plenty of choices.
There is access to an “honesty bar”.
The reception was not always staffed but there were contact numbers if you wanted to speak to someone . We only met one member of staff during our stay who served us breakfast.
In conclusion it is in a good location, basic facilities offering a good breakfast with parking spaces.

Jade and Sam are a lovely young couple, working very hard, nothing is too much trouble. The room was very clean, as was the en suite. There was a radiator as well as an electric radiator so the room and en suite were lovely and warm.the room was at the back so very quiet. Our hairdryer wasn’t working, so I telephoned Sam and a new hairdryer in a box was brought to the room within 30 seconds! Breakfast was delicious, with yogurt and cereal then a full English. The property is up a hill, which is fine walking into town, in the evening we got taxis back, (Tenby Cars) very inexpensive at only £5. I would thoroughly recommend Cottage Court to anyone. And their rates are very competitive indeed.

We stayed for 4 nights. The thing to remember is that it was quite cheap, you can't expect luxury at the price we paid.

Our room was clean and functional, if a bit shabby.
Breakfast was only served between 8.30am -9.15am, which was fine for us but somewhat restricted.
The breakfast was adequate but no fruit or yogurt, the only juice was orange and that was a cheap tasting concentrate. Only white bread available for toast. Not a breakfast to get excited about.

We were told that due to Coronavirus nobody would enter our room during our stay, which was understandable. However on our final full day, we came back after a day out to find our bed made and the windows open. We were on the ground floor and were not happy about the lack of security by windows being opened whilst we were out.

The best reason for staying here was location. Only a few minutes easy walk into Tenby centre and car parking facilities on site.

In conclusion, if you don't want to spend too much time at the hotel and don't want to pay too much, then stay here. We enjoyed our break but would prefer somewhere more comfortable another time.
