I contacted the hotel via Booking.com & directly requesting cancellation due to my father’s deteriorating health & my own health difficulties. Unfortunately - through no fault of our own we have been forced to cancel however we will end up losing £300 which is a lot of money

Tenby has many varied eating places that you'll be spoilt for choice. However, for my wife and me, it was nice to eat in and relax in the separate bar so I didn't have to drive. We're somewhat older than you, so this appealed on so many levels. Why not give the hotel a chance on the first night and spread your wings on the second? Have look around in the daytime to see what takes your fancy...

Is restaurant open at weekends and is it child friendly
we didn't use the restaurant..but if you check at reception they should answer any questions that you may have..and we found all parts of the hotel was child friendly .

Are dogs allowed in bar of a evening ?
Not after 5 pm as they do serve food there but you are allowed in the lounge and reception area They do have a cat so just be aware as she doesn't really like dogs
