"You can't please all people all of the time" is the popular saying which surely cannot apply to Wildercombe House, as I defy anyone to find fault with this superbly run, tastefully decorated guest house, offering excellent attention to detail, the best Full English ever, and a genuinely warm welcome from the owners AnneMarie & Barry. My husband and I...

I am a fussy traveller and don't go away very often because I miss my home comforts. Not so here. A wonderful welcome. Beautiful building, gorgeous rooms, lovely bathroom, 600 thread count bedlinen, berries and nuts for breakfast plus a beautifully cooked traditional breakfast. I couldn't fault our stay.

Wildercome House is a superb establisment, we had high expectations before our visit and those expectations were exceeded. We stayed for three nights and chose the luxury suite (room 6). The whole guest house is well run, clean, nicely decorated with quality furnishings. Our room was very large and particularly well appointed. The bathroom has a huge bath and high-tech...

Just returned home from our 3rd visit to Wildercombe House. It is a wonderful b & b. The bedroom and ensuite were spotlessly clean, lovely toiletries and towels, very comfortable bed with lovely linen and a well stocked tea tray. Wonderful breakfast. Annemarie is a superb host who makes us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning!
