This was our second visit to Norbury House and it didn't disappoint. Paula and Adam are wonderful hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic, and really set us up for our walk along the coastal path just behind the hotel. The location is just great! We look forward to booking in again at Easter.

Was looking for a quick half term mini break and came across Ilfracombe. The Verity statue in the harbour is helping to bring the Victorian town into the modern age and this hotel helps too. Very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast, 5 mins walk down to town or up to coastal path.

Very friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy, with great breakfasts. Full of information on the best places to visit around Ilfracombe. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable beds. All you would want in a B &B plus a bit more. Disadvantage, it's uphill from the town, although that's pretty common in the area. Also, if you have a lot... More

A genuinely friendly welcome from Adam, Paula and Bovril the dog to their beautiful house which is in a great location on a quiet street, backing onto the South West Coastal Path with views across Ilfracombe to the sea. They provided outstanding breakfasts, excellent local knowledge and booked us two superb meals in local hotels - we couldn't fault it... More

We spent two nights at Norbury House. Unfortunately it was not one of our best B & B experiences. What we found did not match the glowing reports of previous guests. The house is reached by a steep, narrow drive at the top of which are a few car parking places in a confined space which makes turning the car... More

We had a great time here. Stayed in several B&Bs over the years and this one is the best of them. Adam and Paula were great hosts, great cooks and just made it feel like a stay at a friend's house. Thanks for making a summer holiday just that.

Just spent another fantastic weekend at Norbury House. Our first time in room 3 which is a spacious king size room with great views over Ifracombe and out to sea. As ever we received a very warm welcome from Paula & Adam. Breakfast includes a selection of cereals fresh fruit and cooked options, eggs benedict always cooked to perfection!

We have been staying at Norbury House since Adam and Paula took over the property quite a few years ago. As usual we have had a fantastic stay with attention to detail not only in the room with a lovely box of chocolates on the bed, but also a tasty breakfast which is always a good start to the day.... Had a lovely stay - Adam & Paula really friendly and accommodating, rooms beautiful, spacious, clean and breakfast delicious. Love the artwork round the house and all the extra touches to make us feel at home. Plus stunning views of Ilfracombe. Would definitely come back.

Myself, hubby and 2 kids have just come back from a weekend at Norbury House. We had a warm welcome from Paula & Adam. They'd take the time to talk to us, recommend places to go and things to do and that made us feel welcome. We stayed in Room 2 (family room) which had a playstation for the kids... More
