We came here in mid May with GB Tours and found it excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was adequate. We enjoyed the cooked breakfasts and the dinner menu included a choice of a roast or something else like lasagne or spaghetti Bolognese. I did find the service a bit slow in the...

Room was basic but clean. Staff carried out an amazing amount of multi-tasking, and were uniformly pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food was basic but there was plenty of it. The hotel was situated conveniently close to Ilfracombe town centre.

The Hotel is only 2 star rated, that's the building. The room was more than adequate, the boost came from the staff, entertainment and the food. Staff, very efficient, courteous and helpful. Entertainment was excellent. Food first rate and plentiful, buffet breakfast just the start for the day. The Quay (atrocious weather but not down to the hotel) a comfortable...

What a welcoming hotel- We visited here with a coach company called GB Tours and were greeted by Julie the manager who welcomed us with a nice cup of tea in the hotel lounge whilst they sorted out our rooms and took our luggage up to our rooms. I must admit to reading the reviews for this hotel on trip...
