We stayed for 2 nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ilfracombe isn't really blessed with many smart places to stay, but this one is. We had the four poster room you see on this page, but what you can't see is the window seats overlooking Ilfracombe & the sea - lovely. The hotel is beautifully styled, very welcoming and...

Lovely Victorian building, with a lot of thought put into the decoration. Views from our room good. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice. We will be returning (hopefully). Area very hilly & the town was well worn! but don't let this put you off as the seafront area was lovely. Plenty of lovely walks & if you like gardens Marwood...

Superb place to stay for a relaxing and romanic time away. The room was amazingly beutiful from its roll top bath, soft bed sheets to its nice view of the town (even see the sea). Very quiet and would recommend this to anyone! p.s the breakfast jams are quiet something too!

Hidden because I couldn't find it in the dark but was I did I was given a very warm welcome. Bedroom was 'boutique' and very well appointed. Super breakfast - made especially for my early stay with warm croissants. Only downside was the drive on a the 1 in 2 slope .

We stayed in Chantilly, which had a lovely roll top bath. We enjoyed sitting in the window and looking out at the amazing view. Breakfast - delicious! Our hosts - wonderfully welcoming. This is how all hotels should be run.

Great Hotel - we stayed for 3 nights in March and were lucky enough to have good weather. Beautiful old building lovingly restored in to a trendy, contemporary but cosy B&B. Couple that run the hotel are great, and happy to give you restaurant recommendations, ideas for things to do, walks etc. Perfect location as only a 10 mins walk...
