We stayed overnight for a friends birthday party and thought the place was great. So child friendly. We had a lovely room and a great breakfast, staff were very kind and helpful too. They organised us a babysitter who was great and made our weekend a lot easier! I would recommend and would stay again, kids had a fab time...

We stayed at The Elmfield for a few days late December, around the New Year period. Our family room was well equipped and suited our requirements very well, as the children had their own bedroom. We all loved our breakfast, good quality produce very well cooked, and a good selection for children too - boiled eggs and soldiers perfect. Sadly...

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We have stayed at lots of other hotels in the past but this is the best one so far. Will...

I stayed here for one night after a long trip down from Selby and an earlier business engagement in Ilfracombe. The hotel has many nice features and the combination of an old residence with modern decor, fixtures and fittings works really well. The pool was a real bonus and breakfast was delicious. Trust me to choose a night with a...

My wife and I spent a few days at this lovely hotel last week with our two young children aged 8 and 7. We stayed there once before last year and couldn't wait to return. Although the hotel no longer offers evening meals in the restaurant, the breakfasts are still wonderful, offering plenty of options for us and the kids...
