Several rooms with good size and all amenities. Also be seen that it would be necessary to better maintenance and cleaning. Everything is still ok. Shortcomings exports willingness and helpfulness. Breakfast is continental.

We were booked into this supposedly 3* hotel which in reality is nothing more than a hostel. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who said 'have you heard of Fawlty towers? Well this is worse'. We enquires if we were booked in for breakfast, to which he responded 'no, its probably as well as I don't do food'....

As my husband had sentimental reasons for visiting the Ossian, we decided to ignore the fairly grim reviews Much that they said was justified; the building needs attention, the decor is tired, there is no dining room and no cooked breakfast. However, it is equally true that the welcome is warm and our room was clean and comfortable Take the...

We were touring in Scotland and looking for a last minute accommodation on the way to Balmoral. We found this hotel by chance and booked in online very quickly. It was perfect. The location, the room, the dog... everything was lovely. Highly recommended!!

We were 3 people staying just for one night. Appart from the mouldy jam served during breakfast, we were charged twice: first charging on our card the previous days before our stay, and after, as we couldn't checked our account details because there were no internet facilities, they asked for a payment with cash. Since August, we've been trying to...

As with other reviews, he told us where to eat, and pointed us in the direction of local attractions. The breakfast room and common areas in the hotel were clean and very tastefully decorated with modern artwork. The breakfast,...

Rule #1 for a stay at the Ossian Hotel: Do not look at its website. You will be disappointed when the reality of the hotel kicks in which has little to do with the warm and luxurious atmosphere that is advertised there. Only the price is luxurious, and we have not found anything warm there. Rule #2: Upon arrival go...

Relaxed and comfortable place to stay, a good, simple B&B. Tony is most welcoming and helpful, very tasty continental breakfast and comfortable rooms. Excellent location for the Cairngorms and Aviemore. Many thanks for the stay
