The great dinner bed and breakfast deal is what swayed us towards staying at the Angus. A great little hotel with great food and staff in a lovely area of Scotland. The staff couldn't do enough to help us out and the food especially the breakfasts was all we could have hoped for. The only slight niggle would be some...

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight at the Angus Hotel. We booked using a wowcher voucher, and what a deal! We arrived early before the 2pm check in time but our room was ready, nice, clean room. As part of the deal we had afternoon tea, served in the bar area. It was lovely, fresh sandwiches,...

This is a very unassuming hotel situated in the centre of a picturesque town. Parking at the hotel is at a premium so don't turn up for a late check-in. Blairgowrie is a lovely little market town, which thankfully shows little or no sign of the modern acceptance of litter, graffiti and undesirable persons that frequently interrupt a nice day...

Stayed at the hotel with a wowcher deal, it was very good value for money. Food was great, although as it was very busy service was a bit slow. Leisure facilities were good and clean. Room was also an acceptable standard. The hotel good do with some modernising but overall it was a good experience and I would stay again.

Have just returned from an overnight stay with my husband. On arrival the lady we spoke to was warm and friendly but the others were moody and unwelcoming. Our room was nice, clean and spacious the only fault was the noisy busy road right outside the hotel. We headed for afternoon tea which was an absolute disgrace!! The woman served...

We came as a family group (mixed age group) of 12 to celebrate my parents Diamond wedding. Overall we all had a lovely time. The reception staff very kindly put up bunting and banners for us in the bar in the afternoon and served our cake along with my plates and napkins. This was much appreciated. The 60's/70's tribute night...

Spent one night here with my partner Lesley on the 28th feb (our 5th anniversary) We got what we hoped would be a great deal and that's exactly what it was. We arrived early and our room was ready so we got our key, the lady on reception was very helpful and informative. The room was nice and inc tea/coffee...

Hotel very tired looking and much in need of refurbishment. The sliding door from bedroom to bathroom was off its runner and in need of repair, as was the towel rail whose rod fell off when I went to put a towel on it. Food I would say was adequate although the choice was limited. However, in saying all that...
