Free on site parking is available & covered by CCTV for your protection, we also have a bike park. Free WiFi throughout the building and all areas have a great signal. Your breakfast is cooked to order using fresh produce from the Island, choose from our BIG breakfast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs maybe? or for our veggie guests, delicious grilled halloumi, we cater for gluten intolerant guests also. Whilst staying with us you are welcome to use our quiet lounge area which leads onto a pretty garden, guests can also smoke in the garden, although the whole house & bedrooms are non-smoking. The lodge is a five minute stroll from our fabulous beach, which is 5 miles of loveliness!! The cliff path walk is especially gorgeous in Autumn. The local leisure centre which houses a swimming pool, spa area, gym and fitness classes is a 5 minute walk. Fancy some T-Time? 9 hole golf is a 5 minute car journey away! We recently had to travel over for a family funeral and having stayed with Lesley at The Bell Lodge previously we messaged to see if she was able to accommodate 4 of us at relatively short notice - We had a reply within minutes with a Yes of Course ❤. We arrived around 10pm to be met by the wonderful Lesley and shown quickly to our rooms which were stunning and newly decorated. The showers are incredible and the rooms have a lovely homely feel about them, the beds are dreamy and we slept lovely both nights. Nothing is too much trouble and Lesley as always is an incredible host. Cannot recommend enough - thank you Lesley as always xx

Having been treated to a helicopter ride from Sandown airport we thought we would make a weekend of it. Spotted the Bell Lodge on Trip Advisor and the reviews don't lie! Lovely safe welcome and impressed by the rooms. Superb eclectic decor too. Good Covid compliance. Location 5 minutes walk from the sea front and free safe parking outside. As for the breakfast - hmmmm - so good and set us up for the day! Good base for some sightseeing around the island

This was our 1st stay at the Bell Lodge, and hopefully won't be our last. We have been coming over to the iow for a few years and this is the only place I can honestly say I would stay at again. Clean rooms, lovely staff, good decor and the best breakfast.

We travelled to the Isle of Wight for a week along with our best friends and I had chosen The Bell Lodge for us having checked the reviews on Tripadvisor and Booking.com - we weren't disappointed. Lesley is just so lovely, the perfect host who obviously goes over and above to make a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were lovely, cheerful, well equipped and exceptionally clean. There was even a welcome box full of tea, coffee etc, hand sanitiser, biscuits (posh biscuits) masks - such a great touch. We had requested a fan if available as my husband is of an age were he has to have a fan 12 months a year to help him sleep - we were given a brand new tall Dyson fan - unheard of anywhere else. At breakfast we were served by Cara who is so nice - but the food - god the food was superb, the nicest butchers sausages and bacon I have probably ever had, everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. I am not used to eating a cooked breakfast every day and every day I decided the following day I would have something lighter - but just couldn't, I didn't want to miss out on the first class cooked breakfast. I will have forgotten lots of points that I intended to make about the place but in my opinion it should have an 11 out of 10 rating. Both us and our friends were so pleased we had gone here and if we go back to the Isle of Wight this is the only place we would be happy to stay. We were sorry to leave and Lesley was just the loveliest person, she blew us a kiss as we went, it felt like we had made a new friend. We stayed at the Bell Lodge for a week and what an amazing place. From the minute you arrive Lesley makes you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very safe everything is covid secure, hand sanitisers available and even taking our temps on arrival. The room we stayed in was the London Room, there was everything you needed including a welcome pack that had cleaning products, hand sanitisers, tea, coffee, face masks, biscuits etc. Every day at breakfast we were asked if there was anything we needed for our room as Lesley doesn't enter your rooms during your stay, the place is spotlessly clean. The location is great only 2 minute walk to Sandown seafront and Pier. We ate breakfast there everyday and it was fantastic, very good quality local foods the sausages best we've had in a bed and breakfast ever, Lesley even supplied fruit tea as I don't drink any caffeinated drinks. Lesley and Cara served us breakfast and always made sure we had everything we needed. Lesley recommended places to eat and even managed to get us a booking at The Old Corner Bank which was great as it is normally fully booked up well in advance. On the whole it was our first visit to the Isle of Wight both Lesley and Cara made it more special, we would definitely stay at the Bell Lodge again, and would recommend it to anyone. Had a really lovely weekend stay at The Bell Lodge for the annual scooter rally. Such a lovely bed and breakfast and I’d highly recommend. It felt like home from home with good size rooms, super comfy bed, very clean and a very tasty breakfast. Lesley is very welcoming and accommodating to any specific needs. Good parking at the front of the property and great location just a short walk from Sandown shops and beachfront and the bus stop into Ryde. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back next year.

I've stayed at the Bell Lodge twice now and it would have been 3 times if I we could've travelled last year...its simply the best B&B and not just on the Isle of wight! Leslie is the best host, always so welcoming and always makes me laugh. The Bell Lodge is beautifully decorated, spotless and Leslie cooks a delicious breakfast, both meat and vegetarian options. She can't do enough for you, with some covid restrictions still place it feels safe and clean, there are cleaning products in your room if needed along with the nicest smelling sanitiser I've ever used 😊 I wholeheartedly recommend the Bell Lodge, we've booked in for next year (and every one after if possible!) My friends stayed for the first time this year and have also booked already too! Transport wise there's a bus stop directly outside the hotel that took us to Ryde and goes on to shanlin and Ventnor. Its about 5-10 mins walk to sandown beachfront and even less to the high Street. Perfect!…

We went back into the first room we stayed in on our first visit here. It had been done up beautifully and was a comfy as ever. Lesley, the owner, has continued to pay great attention to making sure the premises are Covid secure. We had our temperatures taken on arrival and everything was sanitised before it was given to us. As usual a tasty filling breakfast was served before we went out to explore. If Bell Lodge was entered in 4 in a bed it would be the cleanest they have ever had on the show. Thank you Lesley for another really good stay. See you again soon.
