I had a great stay at the Marlborough Hotel in Whitley Bay. Very friendly, good service with a great location on the seafront and great value for money. Nice a quiet at night with some good restaurants on a few meters walk along the promenade. I would highly recommend it!

This place, which should not hold the title of a hotel in our opinion, was shabby and dated. On arrival greeted by a gentleman who was more concerned about us paying the balance of our stay than greeting us and offering us a welcome. Prior to paying any more money we asked to be shown the room. We were given...

I could pay extra (£5 per person per day) for the breakfast which the owner came across as not keen on and immediately stated that "they do not do early breakfasts!" She repeated a...

I found this hotel a very nice stay. The management team were very helpful and made you feel very welcome. The location is central and only minutes walking distance from the town centre and metro station.

Me and my friends stayed here for my friends 21st birthday. There was 5 girls aged between 18-21 and they knew this and took £30 pp off us yet when we arrived her attitude was so appalling we almost left! She was talking to us like children telling us we couldn't take our bottle of wine into the room and...

We arrived to a lovely welcome from Heidi and were shown to our room (No 17) on the first floor. The room was spacious very clean with a small table with cups and saucers for two with associated tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotless with no signs of mould or any other nasties. The sea view was to die...

When we arrived at the hotel, the room had not been booked for us. So we were brought to a tiny room on the 3rd floor that looked more like a maid's room. It was freezing, the heating had not been turned on and obviously no one was expected in this room. The room was tiny, not convenient, the double...
