After a great weekend staying in the Adelphi hotel whilst watching a rally over there, Eric is a very helpful chap and nothing was a problem either. Very short walk there from the shops Would defiantly recommend it. We will all defiantly return.

A friend and I stayed here 23rd - 25th October. The Adelphi is a very pleasant and conveniently located hotel. Only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Douglas and just up the road from the seafront. The hotel is kept in good order by Eric and his wife. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and breakfast is freshly cooked...

We stayed at this hotel in October 2015, and it was a very enjoyable experience! It was in a nice quiet place in Douglas and it was quite close to the promenade. The owner, Eric was very helpful, and he picked us up from the sea terminal since it was late at night, and he even dropped off our luggage...

What a fabulous experience. Even though we-3 O,A,P,- were in the only triple on the top floor we were over bowled by the hospitality of Host. Initially we had trouble finding premises and mein host even drove out to meet us and conduct us to B&B. Absolutely nothing was to much trouble.

I stayed at the Adelphi for 5 nights recently. Eric is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, you can even have Manx kippers if you order them the day before. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. While not absolutely top of the range B&B, you can't do better than this for the price charged. Only...

Yes, Adelphi is a cheap option for the stunning Isle of Man, but I enforce what many here has said: comfy, clean, close to promenade... Only for few pounds?? And then we can have a lovelly couple, Eric and his wife, running the place, and always there to help, to give solutions, with so much kindness and smiling... That´s something...

Booked a room here at very late notice and out of season but had a great experience. A very friendly welcome and comfortable room. Not far at all from the promenade. Cooked breakfast included and all for £30! It's not a luxury hotel so don't expect one but it's certainly better than a Travel Lodge and a lot better value.

Eric the owner could not do enough for you. The rooms were more than adequate with in-suite showers and bathrooms. Breakfast was good - freshly cooked and you could order as you wished - even had a Manx Kipper one day. Would recommend this to anybody wanting a good stay in Douglas although it is a bit of a climb...

Excellent small hotel, rooms clean and comfortable. The hospitality from the owner Eric is second to none, he can't do enough for you, on the last he met us at the sea terminal with our cases saving us a trip back to the hotel to collect them. Breakfast was always well cooked and adequate with more toast and tea available...
