My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night get away the first weekend in October. We were in a sea view room on the first floor. The room exceeded my expectations, a very big room, immaculately clean and the view was fab from the big bay window with 2 cosy chairs and coffee table in it, to sit...

We booked for several days half board at the hotel. We were pleased to note we had a junior suite, but gosh what a shock and disappointment when we arrived. The room was at the back of the hotel and every single window looked out onto a blank concrete wall a few metres away. We immediately complained and demanded another...

Here for a family wedding... average portion sizes. Average food. Good service from lady with bandana. All in all average. Not staying here as your prices are ridiculous! We are all staying up the road at your competitors.

Centrally located, it was the best place for my first trip and introduction to the Island. Kaye, and Jane, from Reception, and the team in Coast, made me feel truly welcomed and helped me navigate my way around the island superbly. Needless to stay, service was excellent. Room was super clean, although the bedding & pillows were less firm to...

This hotel is on Douglas front, right by sea. It is at one end, meaning that it very close to the start of the horse tram route and near the welcome centre. It is also close to all the shops in Douglas. On this visit I had a lovely time. All the staff, in particular, were friendly and helpful. The...

Well situated Hotel for Ferry Terminal. Comfortable Hotel with excellent Staff. Choice of excellent rooms with Sea view, but a lot of noise from Revellers and Traffic , especially at weekends, or smaller rooms that mostly overlook walls , but are noise free. We chose the latter and were fine with it. Limited choice menu, which was usually good. Food...

I stayed in the Claremont for 4 nights when working locally and this was a great hotel. Spotless clean, lovely decor, great food . The reason I can't give it 5 stars was because my room overlooked pipes/generators and I ha to open the window because it was very hot and it was then really noisy.

We loved everything about this hotel apart from the heat in our room. We mentioned this on the first day and the receptionist asked if we had opened the window, to which we replied YES. We met a maintenance man on the stairs and he advised that our room was always hot and there wasn't anything he could do about...

There's a lot to like about The Claremont. My room (106, I think) was huge and had a commanding view of the sea just across the promenade. It was very comfortable, with every amenity I might've wanted. The curtains did a great job of keeping the sun out in the morning. The desk staff was terrific. It's an easy walk...

We stayed here for 6 nights during the Classic TT, 24/8 to 30/8, in a front room overlooking the promenade. When we arrived we we allocated a room without good views or a bay window, as advertised, for a premium price we expected the room as shown on their website. After bringing this to their attention we were reasigned to...
