A very short stay, less than 15 hours.... comfortable, no frills. Only had breakfast, which was fine. A bit of a rabbit warren - quite challenging to find my room. Better to have a harbour view which I unfortunately didn't have.

I stayed for one night, the room was clean and pleasant. The towels were a bit grey and the decor is not amazing but great location for a quick nights stay. The food at the hotel restaurant wasn't great, I had a ham hock which was the saltiest thing I had ever tasted and the fish was very bland in...

I have visited The Claremont last weekend with the missus for Valentine's Day. I must say I was impressed from the begging g to the end of my stay. From the attentive and smiley staff. To the room and the views. The room itself was great, spacious, confortable and modern. It even had a little sitting area I front of...

This hotel looks to have had a serious amount of money spent on upgrading it and I have to say that our room facing the promenade was absolutely luxurious and contained absolutely every facility you could wish for. I would say it's the best we've had in many a year in this class of hotel. The only problem is we...

I stayed here for a night on business. I think this hotel is probably the best option in Douglas. The hotel looked as if it was recently refurbished and it had a nice position on the promenade, close to the town centre. My room was spacious and faced the sea. However there were a few niggles during my stay which...

The Claremont is definitely trying hard to live up to its claimed 4 stars. It's good but it's not quite there yet. Room was nice enough but small and no view at all, which is surprising given its location. Shower cubicle is tiny and the bed was short to fit in the small room. And I'm not very tall! Dinner...

Isle of Man does not have most exciting or modern hotels in the world but Claremont is better than most others. It's location at sea front is excellent and good for evening walk. Rooms are spacious and newly decorated. It is a bit pricy. Breakfast is very nice and you can order speial breakfast menu as well which was nice.

This was my first time at the Claremont and so happy my husband booked it. It's a lovely & very comfortable hotel. We had this amazing view of the Tower of Refuge which made it more romantic. I totally recommend this hotel.

Although without sea view, the room was spacious, (separate lounge), two TVs, and a very comfortable bed. The shower room was clean and well lit, and the shower very powerful. Food was excellent, except there seemed to be a shortage of smoked mackerel most evenings. Comfortable lounge and bar area and extremely pleasant and friendly staff. The hotel is a...
