I cannot fault this hotel, the staff were more than helpful and polite, the food was 1st class. The rooms might be a bit small and dated but they comfortable and cosy, also very clean. I would stay here again.

hotel staff were excellent in all aspects helpful and friendly room was small but all the facilities were excellent breakfast was great. I have no complaints in any aspect for this hotel. it is situated on sea front at Douglas and parking nearby can be difficult on the prom in high season. the hotel hasn:t got its own parking.

Good location for all attractions, we used public transport for the whole stay through a GO explore card, the transport links serve the whole island with a frequent efficient service....

We stayed at the Empress Hotel in Douglas during a short break in July. Apart from the steps to the reception up which you have to carry your luggage, we could not fault the hotel. Accommodation was very good with a sea view. We took the half board option and found the food excellent and superbly presented. All the staff...

The Empress Hotel in Douglas is one of the impressive hotels on the promondade. Our room wasn't sea facing but was large, comfortable and clean. The hotel breakfast is buffet style with a fair range of options all presented at the right temprutures. The island is famous for motorcycle road races but we chose to go outside of the race...
