The guest house was a lovely well established premises set over two stories. The bedroom accommodation, with ensuite was spacious, spotless and well equipped. The added touch of bottled water( free of charge) and top quality shower gels and soap, together with a generous supply of towels in the bathroom, added to the comfort. A very friendly ambience and atmosphere invaded...

During the winter months, Isle of Wight residents can access some amazing deals at hotels and restaurants but nowhere does value for money like the St Maur. This is our 4th stay here and I'm more impressed every time I visit. The hotel has more of a guest house feel but that is no criticism. We always end up in...

Fabulous one night stay in this superbly located, intimate hotel. The hospitality was excellent as was the spacious well appointed bedroom. The 5 course evening meal was great and the full English breakfast absolutely wonderful. We will be back.

Second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first. Stayed in a newly redecorated room that was so spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room in the hotel lounge area to just relax or there are plenty of walks along the coast if you're feeling more energetic. Food was delicious and with plenty of choice. I'm sure...

We enjoyed are first stay at the end of October - a real quality of warmth and relaxation - it will be a 'must have stay' for 2017. The food is marvellous and has a real 'home cooked' taste. There is a real warmth from the staff.

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff who operate this hotel. The room was spacious, well equipped (plenty of good sized towels), very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was very good, there a good selection on the breakfast menu, thoroughly enjoyed the "full English" and the evening meal was also...

We booked the hotel without looking at reviews and couldn't have been happier. David, the owner met use as we arrived, offered to carry our bag to our rooms and along with his staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, really big, spotlessly clean and well appointed. In fact I've stayed in, so called, 5...

This was our second visit to St Maur's although we have been visiting the Island for many years. St Maur's is above all else a very friendly hotel. The host David has no pretentions; what he aims to do and succeeds in is providing varied, wholesome, well cooked traditional food for English taste. Plenty of choice on the breakfast and...

Our room was huge with dual aspect Windows, both with views of the distant sea. Large bathroom with super efficient shower (didn't try the bath), loads of towels, two heated towel rails and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent with a great choice and loads of it, and very high quality. If you didn't fancy what was on offer they...
