The staff was very pleasant and handled our request every efficiently. The rooms were clean and well maintained except the chair and mirrors which needed some maintenance. The TV was too small for the size of the room. The WIFI was not accessible from the room and was only available in lounge area. I don't think other than that anything...

What a wonderful hotel. Perfect from start to finish....travelled with my 11 year old son, booked as a last minute 3 night stay and was so glad that I decided on a stay at the Cliffhall Hotel. I spoke with Mike on the phone who organised my stay, my ferry crossing at a £30 reduction and swiftly sent me all...

We stayed here for a few nights in February. Historically interesting hotel . Very pleasant staff and great location for both beach and old town of Shanklin. Great English breakfast, strongly recommend!

Toni, Mike, Pippa and Mark welcome you like a member of their own family. We booked with my parents and sister for a weekend break and if you can book a sea view room - breath taking. Very friendly and helpful owners, made us feel welcome. Slightly dated decor but comfortable clean room with good shower and good choice at breakfast for reasonable price. Personal thing...coffee could have been better...not being a tea drinker I like my coffee to taste of coffee...far too weak for me but as I said...personal choice. Bar but no evening meals available...

We had a lovely break here at Cliff Hall. What a fantastic old house it is with superb views across the sea. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful with two young helpful waiters bringing extra tea! Room was spacious, again with sea view. Have no hesitation in recommending Cliff Hall and would love to return one day. Thank you!

The Cliff Hall is a traditional family hotel in Shanklin, run by twin sisters, Pippa and Toni, and their husbands, Mark and Mike. This was our 5th visit, and we were welcomed like old friends. Nothing is too much trouble, from providing extra pillows to providing a shower seat and toilet surround or even offering alternative vegetables with a meal....
