Although the rooms are a little tired looking, they are very clean with fresh towels provided every day. Steve, Dawn and the rest of the staff were more than accommodating and nothing was too much trouble to them. The hotel is in a great location but there is no lift to the upper floors. Public transport is within walking distance... More

We stopped Sunday 30/10/16 for the carvary. Food is excellent, well worth going, they also do take away carvary good for a Sunday, especially if you are on your own. Go down and have a really good meal, worth every penny spent.

My partner and myself stayed at this hotel at the end of August, as part of a coach party. The hotel is in a lovely part of the Old village, and although the rooms are a little "dated" decor-wise, our room (with a four poster bed), was clean. the only initial problem I had was remembering not to hit my... The Holliers Hotel, in Old Village of Shanklin. As an old building possibly could do with some updating, but clean. Family run hotel, who were very friendly and made everybody feel welcome. Excellent food and very good evening entertainment. Would definitely go again.

The manager (Steve) in mine and my husbands opinion! The manager (Steve) needs to go on a customer care course. We had no heating in the room until 5:00 p.m as we had no control over the heating and it was freezing when you came out the shower. We had no issue about the food but the way Steve spoke... More

In the very pretty Shanklin Old Village, this hotel offers a carvery every day of the week and welcomes Non Residents - ideal for self-catering tourists. We arrived at a very busy time, just as residents were sitting down to their evening meal, nevertheless we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table straight away. The carvery is very good... More

The hotel is in a delightful location. It has entertainment in the evenings. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed. The place wasn't the cleanest, and could do with redecorating. It did however have exceptional staff, who were helpful, friendly and cheerful. The food was tasty, plentiful and well presented. The rooms were reasonable priced.
