A good honest hotel good food and friendly staff they treat as a friend not somebody staying at there hotel great for walking the rooms need bit of a revamp but rest of the hotel make for that But the beds comfortable so you sleep well And there is a bus stop outside

we thoroughly enjoyed are stay at the Holliers Hotel the setting was so pretty surrounded by thatched buildings .... Steve and all his staff made us all very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. the food was very good a carvery every night, but also another option if you did not want that, entertainment that was on was great,...

2 adults and 3 hungry and tired children, children wanted pizza, but could not find anywhere, and most places did not start taking orders till after 6 oclock, so went into Holliers and children aged 5,7 and 9 where so glad we could not find pizza as the carvery was excellent. The beef was so tender, yorkshire's enormous, and good...

Just returned after spending 4 days , this was a incrediable Break , Mind you ,we were away the 7th April - 10th April with the most wonderful sunny long weekend .At Breakfast you pre ordered your Evening Meal with the Waitress , Either Carvery (the Carvery was served evey evening), or Salad or what ever was on offer. Had carvery in the hotel restaurant, firstly it was extremely unorganised, there is a bar in the restaurant where you ordered your food and drinks, but then they decided you had to go to the main bar to order drinks and go back to the restaurant bar to order food, eventually this process took place! The guy carving the meats...

Really nice two star hotel and we got a great room with its own sun room. Owners friendly, beds comfortable, family run and highly recommended. Shanklin is a lovely seaside town with a good range of restaurants and a lovely beach.

We stayed at the Holliers last Christmas, twixmas and new year,The staff from owners Steve and Dawn right down to the cleaners were there to make sure that our stay was an enjoyable one. Nothing was too much trouble and from top to bottom they were the nicest .most helpful, pleasant people you could wish to meet.Hope to return in...

A business trip allowed me and my fiancée to stay one night in Shanklin old town. A lovely traditional hotel. Hosts are very friendly...nothing too much. trouble. Entertainment as well from a local singer. Lovely breakfast too.

Just returned from our twixmas break will defintely return again Steve and Dawn and all the staff where very friendly food was out of this world for a small hotel entrtainment was very rooms very nice and clean.

thank you Steve and Dawn for making my Christmas. The room was nice, clean and warm, the food excellent and the entertainment first class. Will definitely be going back in summer!!. This was my first Christmas on my own and was made to feel special by Steve, Dawn and the rest of the staff. Thank you so much.
