3 adults stayed in one of the garden rooms with a hot tub and private garden. Excellent service and yummy food. The staff made the stay super enjoyable and relaxing - so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would love to stay again. Would thoroughly recommend.
We stayed in a sea view room, with balcony. The views from the balcony, and from the dining room, were breathtaking. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful,in particular Cathy and Brooke,on reception, and Mike and Chris, inthe dining room. The food was well prepared and service was excellent. All areas of the hotel were kept very clean indeed. The hotel management and staff have obviously worked extremely hard to make the hotel Covid secure. Luccombe Hall is well situated to explore Shanklin( beach and village), plus the rest of the Island. There are numerous attractions and we had great fun at Blackgang Chine, Robin Hill, Carisbrooke Castle,to mention a few. My husband and I enjoy walking and have found Isle of Wight an ideal place for this. The Red Squirrel trail is fantastic and highly recommended. Each day we all had a great time in the hotel swimming pool. We availed ourselves of both indoor and outdoor pools, and found both to be clean and well maintained. The games room provided much enjoyment for all of us. We have stayed at the Luccombe Hall on numerous occasions, and will definitely return. We recommend this hotel, without reservation, for both couples and families alike.…
We booked a family birthday celebration for 9 people over a long weekend in May 22. Besides being blessed with warm sunny weather (the area has the highest sunshine records in the UK). We were warmly welcomed, and looked after. the staff cheerfully attending to our various requests. Discretely seated at one end of the restaurant, and able to use the hotel's garden's for semi-private pre-birthday drinks, the hotel provided the perfect setting for our celebrations. We had a mix of rooms - I can recommend highly the balcony sea views from the first floor; all were equiped to a high standard and beautifly maintained. We were able to take advantage of the indoor and outdoor swimming facilites, (allbeit the latter was next door at its sister hotel Luccome Manor as the Hall's pool was being extended in May). There was very good live music for all 3 nights of our stay. Situated in the 'best' end of Shanklin close to the chine and old village, a short walk away, it also provided a convenient base for exlporing. PS both the Luccombe Hall and Manors Manor have an EV charging point, which we were able to reserve on arrival.…
A superb half board holiday at this beautiful hotel on the coast at Shanklin. Great views, great food and guitarists/ singers every evening. The staff were friendly and very helpful, highly recommended.
We stayed in the executive room for a night which had a huge balcony that overlooked stunning views of the surrounding Shanklin coast. Probably the best room in the hotel! The hotel itself whilst outdated (could do with investment in some places) was well equipped to keep guests busy such as the indoor swimming pool and spa, games room and bar. The morning breakfast was included in the stay and was very generous with lots of options to choose from. As we were there on a cycling weekend there was also a secure bike room to store our bikes during the stay. A big shout out to Cathy on reception who was one of the most friendliest and helpful people we came across during the weekend. Thank you for making us feel welcome and given us some good cycling route tips for next time! Will return!…
