We came across the Luccombe hotel via wowcher. The initial welcome was great. The gentleman who greeted us, showed us around the hotel and helped carry our bags to our room. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do more to help The room we stayed in was a standard double. The room is very basic/standard but spotless and clean....

Spent a very pleasant 4 nights at the Luccombe Hall last week. This 3 star hotel is very comfortable and we felt provided very good value for money. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming, something that we found with all the staff. They went beyond our expectations of good service. We had only arranged dinner for the first night...

Pleasant stay at Luccombe Hall. The hotel is a solid 3 star but no higher than that. It could be 4 star but needs some serious investment to modernise. For example you go into a random door and you have these random spaces with random game machines spotted about. Probably well used in the summer. The sauna needs a good...

We bought a Travelzoo hotel and ferry package with the advantage of having stayed at the Luccombe Hall before, albeit in 1990. We expected some changes but found it has retained its slightly faded grandeur, which should not be substantially changed. We were greeted just as warmly by receptionist Tim and shown to room 24 after a tour of the...
