We were welcomed on arrival by Hana, who showed us to our room & ensured we knew everything there was to enjoy our stay. Our room was very spacious, very well furnished, decorated and cleaned to an impeccable high standard. Breakfast was ordered the night before via a slip & served in the dining room downstairs, which was presented well with continental options & fresh cooked food, brought to our table. An ironing board was made available for us on request. A nice touch was, we were always greeted by our first names, with one of us being gluten free and catered for especially. Always friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. Will definitely recommend & will return again!

We visited Brooke House for the 6th time this May. As previously found it represents excellent value. Bedrooms are large, well decorated and comfortable and include a fridge to keep drinks and other perishables fresh. It is located 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the town centre. It is also 5 minutes from an off road cycle path which can be walked or followed to the 'Round the Island Cycle route' for the more experienced cyclist. The Island is a great place for cycling both on and off road. Hannah and Steve are helpful and friendly hosts and provide a good breakfast - and if needed an evening meal. There is also on site parking.

This was the first time of staying at Brook House and it is one to go back too. Hana and the team run a very tidy B&B. Rooms are very comfortable clean. You are allocated a table for your breakfast and Hana looks after your breakfast orders so well. It is a pre order breakfast and I was not so sure about that to start off with, but it works and as Hana and Steve have been doing this for so long, they do know it works. We could park the car up and walk or catch the train as the station is close. This is one that we would be very happy to go back to

A small hotel, run by 2 people, so you can't expect services that a large hotel would offer. That said, the service, provided by Hannah, was excellent. The hotel has a small car park, and is in a good location for Shanklin Beach. Our room was great. Huge room with a massive bed, fridge, settee and desk/chair. Lovely hot shower, with shower gel/shampoo and big shower towels. The breakfasts were amazing. Loads of really good quality food and as much tea and coffee as you could drink. Breakfast is only served between 8.15 - 8.45 each morning, so not for those who get up late, but that didn't bother us. Dinner can be booked in advance, again with a time restriction - I believe it was served at 6.00pm, but we weren't able to take advantage of that. There is a seating area at the front of the hotel, which was really nice. It just looks out onto the street, but is a great place to sit.

We returned to Brooke House in April, we've been going there for years, and enjoy our stay there every time, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. It is well situated for the bus and train station, and a short walk up to the old village and the sea front, passing some nice shops along the way. We always get a warm welcome from Hana and Steve, very nice people, and all part of the splendid holiday experience. The breakfasts and optional evening meals are marvellous! We are returning in June.

Really enjoyed our stay at Brooke House. Hana was exceptionally welcoming and the logistics of checking in, ordering breakfast etc… were all really well thought out. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. Good quality ingredients and came hot and fresh. A lovely selection of homemade marmalades were a lovely touch. The room and entire guest house was absolutely spotlessly clean. Parking was good, if you couldn’t park on the guest house car park, there was road parking. It is a short walk into town and to the beach area. Good place to base yourself to explore the Isle of Wight. We would not hesitate to return to this guest house in future.

Decided to stay on the Island between work and chose Shanklin so I could walk the coast line. The office booked me Brooke Hotel. Well I had a lovely stay. The hosts were fantastic. The hotel is family run and the decor was fresh and clean. I slept like a log on a really comfy mattress and the breakfast was superb. Just what I needed to get me going. I shall be back.
