My Teenage daughter and myself stayed here for a week as where we usually stay has been upgraded by new owners and we couldn't afford to stay. So we stayed here due to the good reviews and price as we didn't need the option of breakfast . We found the standard double orange room very clean and the owners were...

Had 3 nights here and it was lovely,Michael and inga were great hosts and very accommodating...breakfast was very nice although we didn't try the German option...we stayed in the yellow room which was at the top so a few stairs to negotiate but not to much of a problem...overall a very nice place to stay 😊

We stayed at Garfield Lodge in the purple room as we had come down to paignton for the Torbay Airshow. We had a lovely welcome from the owners right from the start and we were very well looked after. After a great sleep in a massive comfortable bed their full English breakfast set us up for the day! It was...

I have stayed in this B&B previously and this visit was as good. We were very early when we arrived and called in to see if they could check us in and give us access to the car park nearby. They welcomed us straight away but explained the room was still being cleaned but gave us what we needed for...

We were here to visit family in Paignton, we received a very warm welcome, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast was superb. The price we paid was very good value for money and we will certainly stay again next time we are in Paignton.

We have two duvets on this super king size bed. This is common on most places worldwide. We regret you haven't been happy with our breakfast, The mushrooms are not raw. We prefer a healthy way of cooking. We offer 8 dishes for breakfast, why didn't you tried a different one for the second day?

We were here to attend a wedding in Paignton. Location of the guest house is good, very close to the seafront. The owners are very friendly. The room was ok and the bed very comfy. Breakfast was fine, but the dining room was deadly quiet and radio two would have been a welcome addition. The price we paid was very...

My Boyfriend and I visited Garfield Lodge by chance. The original Hotel that we booked online was actually awful in reality so we got a refund and looked elsewhere and glad we did! The stay here was peaceful and pleasant, the owners were friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean and quaint. We had breakfast here also and...

Nice guest house, nice to have the choice of breakfast or not, we didn't so can't review that. Close to everything, beach and shops but not noisy at all. Stayed in green room, sweets and water were nice touches. Everything worked ok. Michael and Inge seemed nice but left us in peace, which was nice.
