When to see friend in Barrow, good , well located hotel. The rooms are very modern in décor, with good showers. I didn't eat dinner, but if breakfast is an indicator is very good. Ample car parking over the road

We'd been here for bar meals twice before as a family group, and the food was fantastic with an extensive menu. This time though was a different story. The menu was given to us on a piece of A4 paper, which I think is cheap and temporary. Two people ordered tagliatelle and they were told later that they didn't have...

Just stayed here for one night with my fiance. Took a bit to find the hotel car park but the hotel was very easy to find. MAKE SURE YOU BOOK DIRECT WITH THE HOTEL. For the same price as we were quoted on comparison sites for a basic double room, we got an executive room and breakfast by going direct....

I stayed here for two nights in March, the room was lovely, very spacious and gorgeous modern bathroom. But I literally had no sleep over the space of both nights, there was some sort of party/reception on the first night, I had the room which was above the main door of the hotel and the roadside. There where other guests...

Came here with my mum for lunch, hugely disappointed. We ordered the meat platter (£11) and the blue cheese, walnut and grape salad (£7). The platter seemed to be made up of incredibly cheap meats (reconstituted sandwich ham labelled honey roasted ham, see pic), the pate was completely unappetising and the homemade chutney tasted solely of star anis. We had...

The hotel, room and food I could not fault just the temperature in the hotel was too hot.Breakfast was very good! The bathroom was very nice other than the grout on the tilled floor was in need of a good scrub in patches. Having said that I would stay there again.

It was obvious the place was popular as it was busy.I would go back there again but would alert anyone going to stay that it would be advisable...
