Wonderfully friendly staff that were eager to travel the extra mile. The rooms are a little old with the odd "tired" detail, but overall the hotel offered very good value for moneyin service and quality, I would go back.

We stayed in this hotel as a family of 5 two adults and 3 children. We had room 1 on the first floor. The room was lovely and spacious with a huge window. The bathroom was clean but needs updating especially the door which can't be closed without a struggle. There was good selection of tea and coffee and breakfast was...

We have stayed her a couple of times for a single night each time. Good value when booked via late rooms. The hotel is clean comfortable and the staff are very friendly and willing to assist. Our room had been redecorated recently but it still appeared a little tired despite lovely new curtains and bed linen. Its great for an...

A basic but cheerful and friendly place. Car Park can be a bit dodgy when it gets full (the way it's designed there's not a lot of room to manoeuvre) but the hotel itself is very comfortable, and in a good location. You get a very hearty breakfast too. Great for a short stay, and good value.

My In-Laws celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this weekend and we held the lunch at the Lisdoonie Hotel. Although a little tired the food was excellent, hot, served on time and good value. The service prompt and the Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a family function.

Stayed here on an overnight visit with my husband and Dad. Hotel is in need of modernisation, but it is clean and rooms and bathrooms spacious (we had a double room and Dad had a single room) Breakfast was brilliant, if you leave hungry it is your own fault, there are cereals, toast, fruit etc to serve yourself then a...

As a couple we stayed for B & B on Mon & Tues night whilst visiting old friends at Barrow. The very friendly Caroline made us most welcome: Our room (first floor No.5 at rear) was warm, quiet, spacious and comfortable. We dined in one night & the food was vg, especially the cream of celery soup - the best...

Stayed 2 nights. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely and plentiful. Offered to cook a meal the first night of our stay. Isn't a luxury hotel. What you pay is great value. Some areas 'tired' & could do with a revamp but place is very clean. Can't fault anything really. 😀
