Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast with friendly owners. Worth the price and good location. Only downside is that some rooms are sharing a bathroom but for the price what can you expect. I would certainly stop here again.

Stayed at the Infield last week, 10 out 10 for welcome, 10 out of 10 for great room, 10 out of 10 for Fantastic breakfast. The hotel is full of character and a fine example of period property. Will definitely use this hotel again. Linda and Terry, your doing a great job, big thanks and well done.

I had my dad visiting from abroad and organised his stay for 10 nights at the infield guesthouse. i spoke to the landlady on the phone and she assured me that my dad was booked in and that no confirmation or payment in advance was needed. Well, what a surprise when we arrived at the premises and the landlady stated...

I'm very sorry for for the inconvenience and I couldn't apologise enough to you, I did however get you somewhere else straight away and I did offer you a free nights stay if you wanted to come back the following day, I didn't here from you and I felt really bad you didn't come back (my loss) but the offer...

I stayed just for one night here whilst visiting family. I was a little disappointed to learn the washroom and toilet were shared however they were both very clean and I had no trouble at all accessing them when needed. I was unable to connect to wifi, the owner did inform me a code would be in my room but...

The accommodation itself is basic but OK and you get what you pay for which is why I stayed there for 5 months, three nights a week. The reason I left however was because I couldn't tolerate any more of the appalling racist views served up over breakfast by the landlady who just can't stop talking. The stereotypical "Daily Mail"...

Can I just say Linda lives with a mixed race person, we accommodate a lot of doctors in our guest house for the hospital across the road and they come from all over the world,...never ever has she been called this from any of them, however, your comments towards her are not justified, I feel that they are twisted for...

I stayed at the Infield for 17 nights last month, I did change to an ensuite room when one was available, I found the stay very pleasant, choice of breakfast, car park, the rooms were big enough in size, both double, warm, yes the TV is small but no smaller than travel lodge etc. The owners were very nice and...

Firstly, this isn't a direct criticism of the owners of the Infield. My real gripe is with Travel Republic who have treated my like a complete imbecile. Having booked directly with TR for a single room on the 4th Sept this year, I arrived at the hotel, admittedly quite late due to a late flight arrival, only to find there...

Pros: - Friendly owner - Decent cooked breakfast in the morning (though small selection of cereal not so good) - Free wifi - Shower in shared bathroom was hot and had good power - Small tv with decent array of free channels - Bed decent and room always tidied to good standard (though a bit of dust on wardrobe) -...

Fortunately the stay was one night only. The room was awful, unsuitable for us. You could hardly move about a double bed and a single, cramped into a small room. No help with our luggage up or down a large staircase, poor facilities. Would not recommend this Guesthouse to anyone. Was led to believe a suitable room would be available....

This is a no-frills B&B. Nice, friendly owner. Bright, airy dining room. Car parking. Wifi (password provided did not work). Family room was comfortable but dated decor. Basic, functional ensuite with shower.
