I've read the reviews below and had we not booked a family room for my wife and I and our 4 year old son we would have agreed with the positive reviews posted. This establishment seems to have a children should be seen and not heard policy, we booked in with an excited 4 year old who didn't settle until...

A group of six of us, two groups of three, stayed in two rooms for two nights. We enjoyed our experience. The property is located off the main drag in Bowness so is pretty quiet. Karen, the owner, was very pleasant and made good breakfasts. She had a system, which seemed logical to us, of having guests fill out pre-order...

Stayed here for 4 nights in mid April for my boyfriend's 40th mini break. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. The b&b is perfect location from the centre. It is a 5 minute walk into the hub of Bowness. Quiet and peaceful location. Stayed in the best room in the house as it had its own bathroom. Would however say...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in November. It rained. A lot. A lot of rain. This, however, didn't take away from the enjoyment of the area or the stay at Elim Lodge. We got a nice welcome and the order form for breakfast was pointed out to us. I am another one who feel a bit strange filling...
