Arranged through Secret Escapes - another bargain. for B & B deluxe room with lake view. Whilst we had an issue with the first room we were moved to another room very quickly and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were booked in for a few nights but enjoyed our time so much we decided to stay another night. All the staff were brilliant but in particular Derek who was really helpful and Fred who was just lovely. We were in room 5 which was beautifully finished and a real joy to stay in - the bathroom was huge!...

Very impressive period house offering high standard accommodation , our room was tasteful and comfortable with a state of the art bathroom ! I had the opportunity to stay the night recently and based on my stay thought I would share the experience..... The quality of the hotel is second to none. The room (no 3) had the most amazing view overlooking the lake. It had recently been refurbished and nothing, but nothing, was overlooked. I've later found this is typical of this...

Stayed at the lovely Storrs Hall Hotel last weekend. Stunning views of Lake Windemere, beautiful large bedroom with sitting area, elegant bar and lounges with log fires. Most of all the wonderful food, using local ingredients and cooked and presented to perfection. Conor Toomey, the head chef has gained three AA rosettes for his food and is on the way...

It started with a very beautiful Spring day , overlooking the Lake , and Afternoon Tea , Scones that were light , yet with a touch of bite , the Panna Cotta , with the Blood Orange Froth , sublime ....then there was more and I had to have it all. The Macaroons , crisp and yummy inside , perfection...

We've recently returned from a birthday visit to this stunning lakeside hotel, set in over 70 acres, made all the more memorable by a fabulous room upgrade - the views of the lake, from all sides of the suite - we had 3 enormous windows - were the best we have ever had, and we've stayed in most 4 and...

Thank you for a wonderfully tranquil stay in idyllic surroundings with helpful friendly staff, gorgeous food and sumptuous surroundings. The bed was so comfortable! Recommend highly without hesitation!

My partner and I have just returned from Storr's hall after a visit for her 30th birthday. It is a stunning venue, in a stunning setting. We stayed in room 5 the bridal suite which is grand, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. A birthday card and a box of chocolates were even waiting...

Had a great opportunity to stay at the lodges this weekend, we had a relaxed family time taking three of the lodges. We also were able to breakfast in the hotel. Beautiful setting, cosy lodges and first class breakfast. What w lovely friendly team who make your stay so easy. Well done on the refurb it is looking fab.
