I took my two adult sons away for a much needed catch up. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and the other guests were very friendly too. I shall definitely stay again.

Great B&B: very friendly & helpful proprietors. Our room (6) was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated with super comfy bed as well as a fantastic view of Windermere! Breakfast delicious warmly and efficiently served in beautiful morning room. The location is great being near the centre but on quiet side road. Adequate parking for all residents.

This is a lovely b&b and a very short walk to the centre. The hosts were both very accommodating and made us feel extremely welcome. Beautiful view of the lake from the Langdale Room. Breakfast has to be chosen the day before and there are no juices or water left out to help yourself to but that's about our only... More

Although we arrived late at night the owner came out to help guide us to car park and then brought us refreshments in the lounge while he put on lights etc in our room. A lovely friendly touch and most appreciated, This is a lovely old house with each room furnished in a particular style. Ours was with an vintage... More

Couldn't recommend this B & B enough. It's clean and comfortable. Our room wasn't large but excellent for us. Breakfast lovely. Views out of this world. Climb up the hill exercises your heart but absolutely loved this place and definitely will be back. Thank you. xxx

This guesthouse was certainly adequate and we had no complaints however I've stayed in many B&Bs where the owners go above and beyond to provide little extra touches to make their guests feel special. This was not one of those and that's why I rated it 3 stars. We paid £170 for a triple room and £105 for a double... More

My partner and I stayed for the weekend beginning 2nd September 2016. On arrival the owner Janz greeted us and told us there was a problem with the standard room we had booked so they had upgraded us at no extra charge to the Fairfield room. This was the largest room with a good size ensuite and fantastic Lake views.... More

This is a wonderful B&B in the Lake District. I can't say enough good things about the hosts, Robert & Janz. They will go out of their way to help you in any way they can. The room was clean & comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Take a taxi up the hill to the lodge unless you are in... More

We stayed for 3 days and nights and we would recommend the Blenheim Lodge to everyone who is seeking a peaceful, idyllic and comfortable environment with very friendly hosts and very good breakfast. The most outstanding observation for us was the cleanliness of the room, and the comfort of bed and shower. The nature behind the lodge reveals amazing and... More

My wife and I stayed here at short notice. There was a problem with the reservation via the booking company (my fault) but the proprietress was very helpful in fitting us in on the day. The Blue Room was clean and snug with a lovely comfortable bed, overlooking the car-park and the lake in the distance (see pics). The breakfast... More
