We stayed here for two nights in August!( Great location only 15/20 minutes walk to the lakeside)the deal was dinner bed & breakfast with cream tea scones & prosecco which we enjoyed out on the terrace on arrival! everything we ate was delicious would have been nice if there was some bread at the breakfast buffet! The drinks in the...

We stayed here recently for one night for our wedding anniversary having got a good deal with Travelzoo.Check in was fine and we were able to have our cream tea which came with the package. This consisted of a fresh scone with jam butter and clotted cream ,choice of tea/coffee and a glass of Prosecco. As we had to go out...

Booked as a 1 night package with breakfast & evening dinner. Delightful rural setting with stunning views of Lake Windermere. Staff very welcoming and professional. Free parking in hotel grounds. Reception and sitting areas tastefully decorated and furnished in a classical style. Small bar - well stocked and realistically priced for a hotel of this calibre. Spacious, well appointed room...

We stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions when it was called Fayrer Garden but became disillusioned. We had spent upwards of £25,000 including 2 weddings but felt let down when management changed and the new manager wouldn't even come and say hello to us. When we heard they had rebranded we gave them another try this July (2015) but...

I booked on a ate-availability deal and was swayed towards this by the swimming pool - unfortunately, it's a mile away with a £5 parking charge ;) - that said everything else about my stay was perfect, though the room was a little small, it was more than adequate. Everything was spotless and had an up-market quality feel to it....

I dont really know where to start here because there's so much to say. The hotel's setting is impressive, on a hillside overlooking Lake Windermere. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who asked my wife (who has slight mobility problems) if she could carry her bag to our room. Our room was probably the best in the hotel,...

We had an enjoyable stay at The Ryebeck, only the one night though unfortunately. Afternoon tea with prosecco was very nice taken in the lounge overlooking the lake. The lake is probably at least a mile away. Our evening meal was another enjoyable experience, the chef is very good. Nuevo cuisine was great quality, only problem was if like us...

The Ryebeck Hotel is timeless elegence combined with updated facilities and a location/views that are hard to beat. Charming surroundings with equally charming staff in all areas of the hotel and restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. Tea and scones (and a glass of fizz) on arrival. Dinner was SUPERB (every course a treat and desserts to die for) -...

We stayed just one night at this idyllic country house hotel with its beautifully manicured gardens stretching down to Lake Windermere. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bedrooms well appointed and scrupulously clean. The public rooms airy with a delightfully modern feel. Food was first rate - we would have no hesitation in recommending The Rybeck - or...
