We stayed here as a group of 6 for one night and left very happy. The hotel and grounds are very nice. Some of the rooms need updating but the ones that have already been updated are much better. We had cream tea with Prosecco and the 4 course meal with canapés. All of the food was delicious, not just... More

Having been presented with a Travel Zoo voucher, my wife and I stayed at The Ryebeck last Friday night and, as part of the deal, enjoyed a meal in the restaurant. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, with acres of wonderfully landscaped gardens and views over the lake at Windermere and Bowness. Although not huge, the Ryebeck is very... More

My husband and I revisited The Ryebeck to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as we did last year. We were so impressed, during our previous experience, that we were a little concerned it wouldn't be repeated. We had no need to worry as the high standards were exactly as we had remembered. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location, within... More

From walking into reception and being greeted by staff with genuine smiles, to leaving the hotel the following day nothing was too much trouble. We were taken to our room by a member off staff who explained what we needed to know about the hotel. The cream tea taken in the lounge overlooking the lake was well just fantastic. Dinner... More

Nothing to fault in truth. Great welcome which included our afternoon tea which could be taken at anytime. Had booked our dinner at 1900. The food was absolutely delightful. Breakfast was also very nice indeed. Included a small buffet of pastries, etc which I also had Egg Benedict, also very very good. Only stayed the one night and would throughly... More

This was the 5th time we have stayed at the Rybeck hotel. Staying on the 24th and 25th August 2015. The hotel and food were very good however, don't pay the £5:00 supplement for the beef fillet, as the portion comprised of two slices 40 mm X 30 mm x 4mm thick, (1.5 inches X 1.25 inches X 0.08 inches...
