We stayed 2 nights on a Travelzoo promotional offer. From the initial greeting to departure this was a most enjoyable stay in all respects. The staff were attentive and friendly and the service was very good. The room was comfortable with good facilities and the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. The hotel has been decorated to...

We visited this hotel with friends on a Travelzoo offer. We got dinner bed and breakfast for one night, bed and breakfast for one night and a bottle of wine per room with our meal. All for £230 per couple. Our rooms had lake views and though not sizeable they were comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi bath was a pleasant...

My husband and I have stayed at the Ryebeck a few times and we had our wedding reception there, in June 2016. We returned this February for a two night stay with our labrador, Ruby and had a lovely time in this comfortable hotel with friendly staff and a beautiful view. As we expected, the food was fantastic. Over the...

We called here to have afternoon tea and plan for a friends wedding. Staff are really kind and relaxed leaving you to enjoy the surroundings. Afternoon tea was plentiful and good quality We asked to look in some rooms ready for the wedding, nothing was a problem. The rooms are varying in size but all refurbished and to a good...

From the outset we were made very welcome and it was clear that nothing would be too much trouble. The meal in the restaurant in the evening was of the highest quality, with friendly and helpful waiters. The English breakfast in the morning was delicious.

This is a very pretty hotel with far reaching views over its own grounds and Windermere (the lake not the town) Every one of the staff was lovely, breakfast was delicious and beautifully served and the rooms were immaculate. We enjoyed reading in the bar and drawing rooms and watching the birds through the windows. Thanks to you all

We booked 2 course meal for 2 with Travel Zoo, based on their menu, advertised in advance, which included pumpkin soup with Parmesan, Cartmel pheasant breast and chocolate meringue with orange gel as options BUT on arrival, were told the soup was now leek and potato (not very exciting, so we didn't order it!) and that there was no pheasant...

Got a deal here, and its a good job we did as I would be very disappointed at full price. Firstly the staff were fine, friendly and service was not a problem. Our room was room number 5 on the ground floor and we did not find it that good. Clean, but an obstructed view of a window box and...

Another lovely trip to the Ryebeck. We took our dog who is welcome in a dog friendly bedroom. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with a view of the lake. There were French doors which meant we could clean the dog easily before allowing in the room but it also meant easy access if we needed to...

We stayed one night at the ryebeck this weekend. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The dining room with the view of the lake is stunning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The guy who took our breakfast orders was particularly nice and cheerful to all guests. Our room was cosy and clean. Breakfast was great. Only one small...
