Stayed 1 night over a weekend, Great location and beautiful views over the lake however the service was shocking. Unacceptable waiting time in the bar and restaurant area also called down to reception for more toiletries which never arrived. Nice pool and spa area.

Take the turning from bowness towards Ambleside and there is a car park opposite the Beartrix potter museum for £15 for 3 days. It’s only a 10 Minuets walk from the hotel. Much better value than the rip off they charge.
